Here's a question to start! What is your villain's favorite animal? If you don't have a villain, feel free to answer the question for a side character! :3

@Spearmint well. there are multiple villains BUT i want to answer for my lovely pierre wynding: he really likes lizards.

What's your MC's least favorite meal? Why?

@chrysanthemumcentury The MC, the Narrator, finds the whole eating process quite distasteful. They don't have the time to participate in such mortal-like children's games.

What is one of your side character's reasons for sticking with the MC?

@WeepingWisteria Side Grease is Jyden's old flame who moved on from him because /he/ couldn't move on. They do still have a good working relationship, though, and Side Grease knows Jyden's heart is hurt but in the right place. They could never leave him, really, and would go to the end of the world for him.

What is the backstory for a cool nickname of a location/place?

Omni Nilbud (city in parallel universe) is just Dublin spelled backwards! Since the main character is Irish and Ireland has this whole cool mytology and it´s still called "island of magic" I just thought that Nilbud will be the right choice.

MC´s least favorite place and why it is that one/those places?

Tristian doesn't like being stuck in prison because it's too dark and there's no medical care for prisoners, which means that if you have a raging infection going on, it's going to get much worse.

Does your MC have a good relationship with their parents?

@Snoink - The Narrator has a very complicated relationship with their parent, the universe. They did not ask to be here and to be given the worst job in the entire universe, thank you.

@Omni - That's interesting, Omni! What made Side Grease decide to move on, though? What made the flame die?

If your MC could change one thing about the past, what would it be?

@WeepingWisteria For Michael, he'd try to keep his girlfriend from going on a car ride, so that she'd be with him.

It's interesting how your Narrator dislikes the idea of eating, What else do they find uninteresting?

In another world, could your villain and MC be friends?

@chrysanthemumcentury Definitely not. My 5 main characters (I can't choose just one) absolutely hate the government and the corporation that runs it. Anyone even remotely close to Chronos Corp. They'd know right away to stay away from that person, no matter what world it is. XD

Does your character have any special powers/traits that are notable?

@Elektra yes. One of the main characters is a pandemonium bringing demon so I expect him to have a couple tricks up his sleeves. However, he doesn't really have any real malicious intent and is more focused on just living a normal life. One of his favorite things to do is use his powers to make random objects fall at night, scaring his roommate. Eventually, his roommate got so used to it that he just thinks it's the wind or something.

If the main character(s) change genders, will the story still be the same? What is something different that'll happen if they do change genders?

@ToastK -- probably not! As was the norm in 1930s private schools, there are a boys' school and a girls' school in THSJ. If Eduard was a girl, he would have to go to SJF, not SJA! He would potentially never meet George, Cameron, and Mr. Thompson, or have the same business success he has later in life.

If you could create a spin-off novel of one of your side characters, who would it be? What would it be about?

@looseleaf I would choose my character Death and it would explore the Underworld and Death's experience with reaping souls.

@chrysanthemumcentury idle gossip, swearing, their job, sleeping, social media, their job, alcohol and party culture, and their job.

What is the main reason you feel the need to write the story you're writing now? What are you hoping to accomplish?

@WeepingWisteria -- For this story specifically, there are some themes I'm really eager to dig into. I had a lot of difficulties earlier this year with my day job (tl;dr - it was a dream job for five years and then a lot of things happened that made it no longer a dream job and I had no idea what to do next). I'm hoping to wrap a lot of the internal stuff I was going through at that time into this book, but in a rom com package because I love a love story and I love a fun/cute/happy story. It's going to be different from the last two rom coms I've worked on and I'm excited for that as well! Overall, I'm hoping to have fun and write a story that I really enjoy!

What is the scene or moment you're most looking forward to writing for this project?

@Carlito There will be a trip to the northern areas of Pakistan. In Nathia Gali (a town on the mountains) the whole area and the vibe of the place is very romantic. There are open air restaurants— imagine sitting at a table drinking tea early morning when there’s a cool breeze and a view of mountains and clouds on your side. And on the other side, there are these quaint little shops selling traditional clothes, jewellery and other stuff. So my characters Ikram and Faraz are sitting there with their families… I am SO looking forward to writing that!!!
