The Shadow League This is a mix of several stories with different plots, but they are actually all connected. The characters of the stories keep interacting with each other and TSL is the center of it all ~~~ Stories: Lots of Spoilers! MaryAnna S1 & S2 https://i.ibb.co/0QJzthD/Screenshot-2024-06-25-110342.png Season 1: 100/100% draft This story is about a fourteen year old girl named MaryAnna Bradshaw who is a very stubborn, kind and interesting girl who lives in Eastwood Valley with her brother, Alex (shy, introvert and smart) and his best friend, Jake Dalton (loud, extrovert, pretty boy). Together the trio is up-to-no-good at all. MaryAnna’s father Richard Bradshaw, is a mean jerk who abuses their lovely mother and tries to shape MaryAnna into a sophisticated young lady ready for marriage, but MaryAnna is not that easily manipulated. On the other hand, criminal, drug dealer and mafia boss, Daniel Anderson cooks up lots of devious plans with his team of Shadow Reapers (his assassin group). Now what happens if MaryAnna’s mother gets a call from an old friend and Richard finds out. She lands in the hospital, because of the terrible abuse. At the same time Daniel gives his Shadow Reapers the order to carry out Mission MaryAnna. She reconciles with Sergeant Jake (who joined the army) and Officer Alex (her brother, who is a policeman) She finds out her best friend, Lara Dalton (Jake’s older sister) died the same day she went missing in a terrible car crash. This causes her to break down. Later on MaryAnna finds out Alex had their father locked up because of the abuse and he’s dating her childhood bully. She also finds out that her mother fled when they wanted a police report, she still meets up with Alex and Jake but in secret and only on Sundays. When MaryAnna finally meets with her mother, she sees her mother walking hand in hand with Daniel Anderson. This is confusing (and sad), just at that moment: her mother gets blown up by a bomb right in front of her. Her mother left a USB for her and Alex, saying to trust Daniel. Devastated and heartbroken, they do. MaryAnna finds out that her mother, Martha, was a secret agent part of the Nation Security(NS), when Martha’s father found out he was angry and forced her into marriage with Richard. Martha had Alex then. A year later the NS approached her again, saying they needed the best person for this job for it was a dangerous one. She lied to Richard about visiting her sick aunt for a year, he surprisingly agreed. Martha went undercover for two years to infiltrate the mafia boss, Daniel Anderson, and kill him. While getting deeper and deeper into his business Martha found herself falling for Daniel as did he. Later she realised the NS was wrong about killing Daniel, she married him too and together they had MaryAnna. Daniel knew it wasn’t safe to have a family while he was doing a job like that and the NS was angry that Martha had betrayed them. They sent people to kill Martha, (bc they didn’t want rogue agents) Daniel sent Martha back to Richard with MaryAnna and deleted any evidence of her. He told Richard to not give her any electronics, job, or contact with outside, for they will kill her if they find out where she is. So they moved to Eastwood Valley, Richard was angry at Martha. Martha told him she didn’t love Richard and this made him even more angry so he started taking out his anger by abusing her. On the other hand, Lara Dalton now Lara Rodrigquez married Assassin Rafael and has a son with him. After she got rescued from the car crash with the help of Daniel and Detective Gonzales. Lara joined Daniel’s group (of assassins) and stayed with them for the safety of her family. The story continued with a dangerous mission carried out by the assassins. By MaryAnna trying to find her place in the world and deal with everything she learned. Detective Gonzales: 30/100% draft https://i.ibb.co/FbVMP70/Screenshot-2024-06-25-105820.png This story is about a woman named Ema Baker who lives in Mahogany Town, who is the first woman detective in her town working for MTPD (Mahogany Town Police Department). Her father doesn’t like this job and wishes to see her married before he dies. So that’s what she does (for his sake), she marries another guy who is also marrying (because of his parents), Officer Renato Gonzales. And hey, they hate each other. Ema is a nightowl, not a kitchen-princess, not the sophisticated one, but clever, sharp-eyed and an amazing detective. Renato does the cooking, sweeps the house and is an early bird. Also does he still see Hailey Fisherman (his fiance of five years before he married Ema) everyday at 12 o’clock for coffee which Ema knows and is totally okay with. Detective Ema is not interested in a relationship and is the best detective in the department. Detective Yopin thinks otherwise though and tries to get her transferred. Everyone who doesn't know Ema, thinks Renato is the detective. Because of this a lot of assassinations, burglaries and assaults are taken by Renato for Ema. This’ll eventually lead to them coming close. The Diver & The Cook - Bros4life: 2/100% draft https://i.ibb.co/TqTGpZg/Screenshot-2024-06-25-105644.png In Seahorse Cityscape lives Arka who is taken in by the Silver family when he finds out his parents died on sea. He grows up with the son of Jordan and Jane Silver named Wilko. Together the brothers become inseparable. Wilko aspires to become a world most famous chef while Arka wishes to become a diver. Wilko has five “girlfriends” named Esmerelda, Emse, Betsy, Susie and Missy, his chickens who under no circumstances will get cooked. When Arka was fifteen, he went swimming in the dangerous sea and got his left arm eaten by a shark. Daniel Anderson, mafia boss and drug dealer, helps him with a serum and regrows his arm. He also gives him a gift which helps him to breathe underwater. Because of this Arka is not allowed to take part in the Seahorse Cityscape Diving Competition. Wilko ends up in prison, because of something his friend did, where he meets Reggie Carter and becomes friends with him. Later one Arka finds out that he’s the son of the Duke of Seahorse Cityscape and takes his rightful position into rule. When Wilko gets out of prison, he’s allowed to be the personal cook of Seahorse Cityscape’s duke (no one other than Arka ;) ) The Silent Nurse: 100/100% draft https://i.ibb.co/Br3x5Hc/Screenshot-2024-06-25-110521.png This story was originally a short story about an army nurse who can’t speak named Isla. She finds herself in war rescuing soldiers from her own country Red. One day she finds a soldier from country Blue, named Sjur, in terrible pain holding a gun up to blow his brain to end the pain. She doesn’t want him to die and cares for him for several months in secret. At first they couldn’t understand each other because Sjur could speak no english. After a while she learned his sign language and they gradually fell in love. After Sjur was healed completely, Isla told him to leave because if her Captain found out they would kill him. As she walks with him outside, he says he’s sorry for what he’s about to do. She knows his intention and tells him she’s pregnant. He replies with a gunshot to her brain and walks away crying thinking he left her to bleed to death. The Soldier: 2/100% draft Thirteen years later as he quitted war, the soldier, Sjur, now thirty gets kidnapped from his calm life. And the kidnapper tells him he needs his help to unleash a big bomb or else he'll sell his son. Sjur says he has no son and the kidnapper might as well kill him, for he’s not going to help him. The kidnapper shows him a picture of a boy who looks exactly like him, but with different eyes. He says that his son is the son of Red and Blue and people will pay a lot of money for a kid like that. For he is the first and that the boy could lead to peace between Red and Blue unless he’s killed. He explains that the captain found Isla before she bled to death and the captain loved Isla like his own daughter. So he paid for a dangerous surgery and his own daughter, Dahlia, carried Isla and Sjur’s child. Sjur still says no, but after he gets a visit from Dahlia, he changes his mind and does the job. But he is betrayed and the kidnapper still keeps his son. He goes to Daniel Anderson’s father, William, for help and together they save Sjur’s son and Sjur gets a redemption also ending up with Dahlia. The Exchange Student: 100/100% draft https://i.ibb.co/P4rn6fN/Screenshot-2024-06-25-110213.png This is the story of District Attorney Palam Winters who went as an exchange student to the US and finds herself on the phone with her sister, Mia who is in need of medical attention, but she’s in Paris. As Palma is on the phone with the First Aid of Paris, they turn down help and Mia dies. This causes Palma to stand up and become a lawyer. Later on she married the eldest son of her exchange family, Levi Winters and they have a daughter named Nia. Honouring Mia. He is known as King Sanchez, king of the drug-world. As her father lies on his deathbed, he wishes to see Carla once again. Despite everything, she believes he could change and takes the bus and goes to see him. As she arrives there, before she can give her father a hug, she gets kidnapped by two thieves. Reggie Carter (funny, annoying ignorant idiot) and his sister Sia Carter (smart, short, sixteen-year old and loving sister) kidnapped Carla for her knowledge of diamonds. They are diamond dealers and wish to become rich with it. They steal stuff, sell it and move to another town, that’s how they live. Carla, annoyed by this, has to listen to what they say. She's cooking up a plan to escape, but when Reggie holds a knife up her throat, she’s too afraid to do something. Eventually, she finds herself falling for Reggie and starts to grow close with them. Later on Sia tells Carla that Reggie was in prison for killing their father. Reggie accidentally killed their father when he was stopping him from abusing their mother. So he went to juvie where he met Wilko Silver, later on DA Palma Winters and Daniel Anderson helped him out. After the flashback, Reggie gives Carla back to her father, and this makes Carla angry for some reason. When she goes back, the two catch up and she finds out her father is still in the mob business and hasn’t changed a bit. He tells her about a diamond which can cure any illness only if all of the family members are dead. Suddenly Carla starts choking on her paella and her father apologises. She asks if he would really let her die, he says her kidnapping only postponed his plan, with that she stops choking and says it was an old trick she learned from a friend. She says she swapped the food, knowing he would poison her (as Reggie told her that was the way he killed her mother also). She steals the diamond from him and leaves him to die as she walks out of the mansion and Reggie and Sia are waiting for her there with a pickup (uhm.. A stolen one). The three of them drive away together and steal loads more diamonds. Zayn and Rani are half indian-muslim, their parents are killed for this and Daniel takes them in. Daniel sees Rani as his little sister, who was killed by his father. Rani and Ace have a slow-burn, because Rani’s afraid of opening up again after losing herself to four ex-bfs. Ace really cares and is a good guy, but it’ll take time for Rani to come there. Ace is the son of two amazing doctors who worked for Daniel in his private hospital and are killed on a mission. He has a relationship with Rani for seven years and when he asks her to marry him, she gets hit with deja vu and shuts him out. Rafael is a hacker and was in and out of juvie because of this, Daniel took him in after seeing his talents. On a mission with Zayn, he sees an upcoming model, the beautiful colour-blind Larissa “Lara” Dalton and falls for her. He asks her out and doesn’t define her by her colour blindness, they date for three years undercover, because as rule number one says: No Emotional Attachments, no relationships with your crew or outside. After a while as Lara ends up in a life threatening crash, he injects her with a serum which can help her and tells her she can’t go back to her family for they will be in danger. She stays with Rafael faking her death and marries him. Together they have a kid and she joins Daniel’s assassin group where she learns fighting and shooting. Fifteen years in their relationship when their son is five years old Rafael dies on a mission. Zayn and Rani are there for Lara and her son. This leads to Zayn falling for Lara and maaaaaaayyyyyyybe … ending up with her. Calypso and Neele as two assassins who are not really in the picture, just some places. Side side side characters more. I'm still editing this so things will definitely change. Which one are you most excited for? ~~~ Goals: * Finish up several drafts * Create some complex characters (not repetitive ones)

We're just going to pretend today the last day of July, right? ~~@redcarnation~~

So, here's what happend. I decided I would really focus this Camp NaNo on my novels, but then I went on vacation. O.o And then I chose vacation over my novels. I promised myself I would write, but yeahhh. It's fine. Don't worry I'll wait for November ^^

This was really fun and a total blast!
