sometimes but i can't think of a fandom I'm in that doesn't have at least one other person lol unless it's my own idea. I thought that about transformers for a hot min but then found a few fans on here haha. it's also well known.

but now I'm curious. what's the fandom/idea

He walked towards the door. "I'll go back to Kurra now." He said her sister's name in the best pronunciation he could. It was a simple word, but the Atoans said it differently than he would naturally say it.

I've been obsessed with this old 40s horror-comedy, Arsenic and Old Lace, for about a month now. I want to do a roleplay following the antagonist and his lackey as they attempt to set up an illegal plastic surgery practice in Brooklyn OR follow them as they go on the run some time after the events that take place in the movie. They're a hilarious pair and all the characters are just such a delight, but the movie isn't super popular on the roleplay forums. Not enough people know about it.

I used images from the film for my halloween profile makeover.

Raia nodded and opened the door, holding it for him. She got the gist and thought that was probably wise; Kurra was a patient person, but she could be petty if she perceived a slight against herself or if she thought her time was being wasted. "Good idea."

ooo spooky. not a huge spook fan myself and not heard of it but I definitely get being interested in something that nobody else seems to be

He parted, but his thoughts remained fixed on sorting through the glimpses of memories he'd seen. As he made his way back through the dark and winding tunnels he began to form a plan of how he would begin to question Kurra.

Briefly he thought of how impatient and annoyed Tarkin probably was right now and he smiled to himself before hiding the thought away. He would take as much time as he needed.

It's agony.
It's not really scary so much as playing around with some of the tropes surrounding Frankenstein's monster specifically. There's a character who's had his face changed around a lot, which resulted in him bearing a strong resemblance to Boris Karloff. It's a running gag all the way through.

I'll keep on trucking though; I've got fanfiction to keep me company until I find someone who'll roleplay it with me.

Tarkin was, in fact, growing increasingly bored as his ship orbiter the planet. He considered himself a patient man to a certain extent, but being cooped up with these low ceilings and narrow walls was wearing on him. He occupied himself as best he could by taking care of minor business affairs on Eriadu and resolving issues within the Navy, but he was running low on duties. There were a few messages he could probably stand to answer, but he'd been procrastinating on them for a reason.

Currently, he was taking a break from the bureaucratic matters by exercising; there was a small training room at the back of the ship that he'd reserved for just such a purpose. It helped take his mind off the waiting, for one, and though it was cramped he could ignore that by turning his mind inward.

Sirejj had claimed that the Atoans were sensitive to imposters walking on their lands. He believed they would remain in hiding if Tarkin so much as set foot on the planet. Tarkin felt this was overblown; he knew Vader and had met other powerful Force-users, and none were so in tune with a planet as that. Then again, Vader had never specified the extent to which his extrasensory abilities could track someone. Tarkin was tempted to put the Atoans to the test and see if Sirejj came back huffing up a storm. He would have, if the mission wasn't this important. He couldn't afford petty risks and experimentations.

lord i love Tarkin. but like i hate him because he's despicable but I love him in this RP and the dynamic he has with Sirejj and how they exist just to make each other super mad a lot of the time

Sirejj soon found his way back to the training chamber. He was beginning to become familiar with the deep caverns and their many turns. He practiced leaving signatures of himself as Kurra had shown him, and though he was not proficient just yet, it was enough to keep him from getting lost.

Kurra was still in the training chamber in the midst of a meditation, though she stirred as Sirejj entered. "Are you ready to resume?" she asked, getting to her feet.

"As ready as ever." He said, with a little of his signature mischief in his tone. It was all harmless, but a bit of rest and food had done his mind some good.

Kurra dipped her head and straightened herself up. "I want to go back to working with illusions. You could stand to practice it more, and there's no such thing as too much repetition."

"Excellent." Sirejj allowed a slight look of pondering to cross his face. A few questions flickered in his mind concerning the fall of Atoa. The fate of the cathedral in particular. He was very careful to allow only glimpses of his inquiries to be seen lest it be revealed he knew more than he let on.

Kurra picked up on his thoughts someone, and her brow furrowed. She said nothing, though, opting instead to guide him back to the mediators. Her mother was sitting there, watching them carefully.

"You may try again when you're ready," Kurra said.

Sirejj felt she wasn't taking the bait. He'd have to be more direct. "I will begin. Thought I find my mind a little preoccupied."

"So I see."

Lady Tris raised an eyebrow, glancing between Sirejj and her daughter.

"Choose another meditator," Kurra prompted. Her tone had cooled slightly.

Sirejj felt outnumbered. They were certainly cagey about the subject. He turned to focus on one of the sleeping elders. He found again their minds were difficult to see, but now refreshed, he took a different approach. When reaching out to see their minds, he remained as an observer with no intent of barging down the doors. Shutting out Kurra and the others, he remained quietly listening to the broken whispers in the mind of the elder for a few things in particular. He wanted to know of the fate of Atoa. He wouldn't cast anything related to it, but while he was searching for an image to grasp, he may as well learn anything the elder could show him.

The elder was deeply, deeply detached from this plane. He had sought refuge in the planet instead, drifting around the sun alongside it in an attempt to distance himself from what had transpired here. On the surface, all that could be seen and heard where shades and whispers, things that the elder wouldn't quite let himself remember and things that the people on the planet of Atoa were thinking and feeling in this moment. He was scattered, hard to keep still, and he had been this way for eight years at least.

"His mind eludes me." Sirejj said, his voice still calm. "He has set himself particularly far away from the things of this mortal world." Even in his searches Sirejj felt a twinge of the pain his target felt. One did not practice such abilities and step away unscathed.
