Camp July '23: Miscreants + Through the Amber Forest

Day 28

Finished coming up with what I needed for the forest and lake. Also drew a rough map (though I'd hardly call it a 'map' xD). What remains of the main locations are a swamp and a second forest. I realise I ended up drifting from 'create a climate system' which was my original goal because I felt like I needed other parts of the world first to figure out how things like the water cycle would work, and eh, given the magical nature of . . . nature, in this setting, a 'realistic' climate system doesn't seem so important anymore.

Day 29

Day 30

Ended up changing the swamp to a marsh. I have the basic details of that second forest and the marsh now. The next thing to do would be to work on revisions: deciding what from the original draft to keep, what to change and how I might want to rearrange the events.

Day 31

Read through and marked up the second draft, until scene 4.

Congratulations on completing Camp, Lim! You are probably the most consistent Camper I have ever seen and I have really enjoyed following your updates throughout the month!
