Ky smiled too and nodded approvingly. The three of them were going to be friends by the end of this. She was sure of it.

"Her language is very difficult," Ivar mused to Ky, though he knew she couldn't understand.

Ky did, in fact, have no idea what he said. But she offered a polite smile and a nod.

"I will learn for her," he decided, and turned to May. "Good," he said in Moon Speech. "Good?" "Very good," she replied, still smiling a little.

Ky's smile grew a little, deciding that meant he wanted to learn Moon Speech as well. She resolved to truly apply herself to learning Nortung. She had the advantage here since she could already speak two of the three languages, and since she was able to read to teach herself. It'd be invaluable to have someone who could speak all three while they were mutually progressing, and she didn't want to have to leech off Rickard and Gaius the whole time. Although, it might be nice to get Rickard in on the language club, too. She wanted to get to know him better. She wanted to get to know all of them.

Ky smiled and nodded to her. "I'm excited to learn myself... although I'm sure my pronunciations are going to remain a problem." She offered a self-deprecating smile. "It'll still be good. I'm excited to get to know both of you."

"I'm sure you'll be a quick study. I've been told Moon Speech is quite difficult, so if you can master my language you can master Nortung."

Ky smiled and blushed a bit at the compliment, dipping her head. "I'm sure you'll learn quickly, too. Though you've got the disadvantage of trying to learn two at once instead of just one... if you ever need a break from one or the other, we can do that, too. Just let me know."

May nodded to her, looping her arm through Ivar's. "I'm sure I can get lots of practice. Thank you."

Ky smiled, endeared at how close they seemed. Would she have gotten this comfortable with Tadaaki if they couldn't even speak with one another? She wasn't sure. But, then, she supposed they weren't allowed to talk much anyway, so perhaps it wasn't words so much as energies that mattered.
She nodded and buried her hands in her pockets, feeling that the language lessons were over for now. She glanced down the hall. "What are you two up to today?"

May hesitated. "We're just walking. Ivar thought it would be good for me."

Ky wished she had language skills to be able to translate. She thought for a moment then gestured walking with two fingers across the palm of her left hand. "Good."
