Posted!! Hope it's okay! The only funerals I've been to have been nonreligious ceremonies at funeral homes, so hopefully everything is fine. (Maybe it wasn't a great idea to have two atheists write the church service scenes, but ah well! )
Hi all! Am just getting home from rehearsal so I'll read Plume's post tomorrow when I'm not as tired and make time for mine. I was actually just at a funeral today (a Protestant one, though).
No worries, by the way. It was for my mom's aunt (my great aunt) who was not exactly a beloved member of the family. I knew she and my mom didn't have a good relationship, but her son told my mom and I he had to "dig for the good memories" which I thought was sad.
The reason I bring all of this up is because funerals/death/etc is fresh in my mind. I also thought it was interesting that I guess my mom and cousins were venting about how everyone is saying what a great person my great aunt was, but they remember something much different. However, to add to that, what's been difficult for my mom and cousins was my aunt was never awful 100% of the time, and there have been good times that they have to reconcile with all of the bad.
But anyway, I digress. Post tomorrow.

I can post the last, internment post sometime today/tomorrow. :) Should it include anything else but Aloysius's description of the burial? Maybe he notices a few family members/something about the priest and then next week we get to the interviewing.
I'll post it in ~10 minutes! Also, no joke, I was looking up poor 1920s funerals and an article on Rudy Valentino popped up. 👀 I think I'm being watched.
And another new week. So this time let's spend a little time asking some people. I like how you @looseleaf are already starting a new post with this. Shall we collaborate for this one? We can do that during the week like on Wednesday or Thursday and the other posts we can do on our own, or even prepare them already. (X asks Y, Z asks A, etc...) and then we meet for a first big exchange of information the next week.
I'm going to be pretty busy this week (I probably won't be able to post until Sunday or maybe Friday) but if you guys collab on post, just let me know and I can add Caroline's comments/interactions as we go this week. And wherever we end up, I can end this week with Caroline.

I think looseleaf should write the first post now (even if it's a double post), and then we'll add our dialogue/thoughts. But I can also write something like Aloysius is waiting outside for Sophie to go out last? And then all of you add your dialogue?
