OK, maybe we can already prepare our own posts already? We'll just have to agree on whether everyone will ask someone themselves first and then we'll go to the priest together next week (where we might also be able to find out more about the parents?). And who do we ask now? Police officer - speakeasy owner - possible witnesses?

And what about Hoover? :D

I think it would be smart to write the posts now and then post them in succession after doing a collab post at the funeral with maybe some talking to the priest and also an acknowledgement that the group is going to try and find stuff out about the murder. I think Julian could probably go back and talk to speakeasy staff— maybe someone could try and get information from the police? If no one knows where to go, they could also just have their character talk to people at the speakeasy to gauge their reactions/see if maybe they saw anything, and that could get them a little clue? I don't know; it's just an idea if we can't think of anything else! There are also the people at the funeral to question, too.

(Also I can most definitely fit Hoover in the next time Julian goes to the speakeasy)

Good ideas! I would think we would ask the priest/family as well to see HOG’s background and why someone would kill him, but both their interviews can probably just be in one post.

I think I could take Sophie to the police station, where she might ask around and maybe meet this one policeman (can't remember the name. xD).

I think the same @looseleaf. That´s going to be a long post then?

I think to find himself and forge his own path or something to that effect. I don't think it was discussed beyond that.

All right. Should we set a date when to meet or is it fine to just add our dialogue later?

I´ve already started writing Sophie´s post where she´s visiting the police department.

I’m very busy this week, so if you need to interact with Caroline in your posts, just bug me and I’ll add. I probably won’t be able to collab on anything until next week or the week after.

So the way it seems now is that we could meet without Elinor (sorry Elinor— I hope you trust us lol) sometime soon and collab (and leave in some spaces for Elinor to fill in Caroline's dialogue), or someone could draft a post and people could go in and fill in dialogue when they were able to. I think that this chapter wold benefit from a little collaboration, since we'd possibly be getting some leads, and I think it would be good to be on the same page about where the mystery is going. Would 03/19/2022 19:00 GMT work for y'all, @looseleaf and @MailicedeNamedy? I'm also open to Sunday afternoon EST, too!

If it's not possible to collab, I could also just draft a post and y'all could go in and fill in dialogue where it's needed. I could get that done today, but after today (if we haven't settled on what we want to do), the earliest I could get it done would be Saturday, so if someone would be able to draft it before then, that'd also be great!

The only way I could collab on those days is if we did it ~5 hours later on Saturday or I have to be on my phone while we're together. I'm driving home from vacation and won't have access to my laptop.

I can write up my post sometime tonight/tomorrow in the pad and leave spots to fill in if need be (I doubt they'll be hardly any, though).

Hmmm... maybe instead of questioning the priest first, we wait to group them all together and first they do independent questioning of various people? And then they go back to the church to question the priest and coincidentally go there on the same day, and that's how they form a group? I don't know, but judging from the difficulties we're having with organizing a collab, that might be the best way to reach our word count before the end of the day Sunday, even though it's not the most logical decision plot-point wise. Or one person could just question the priest/funeral goers, too.

I like that idea! I think Aloysius was gonna interview the family, so I guess we can all pick who we want to interview.

Just want to say all of this is fine and I trust all of you. Feel free to write some dialogue for Caroline too, that would be best. I’m booked solid through Sunday but let me know if you need anything from me at all but for the next few weeks the rest of you are going to need to lead the way - we open next Friday but I do still want to be involved in this SB.
