Your post was great @Plume!

Caroline will be coming from work so she'd get there after 6. I'm going to come up with some reason why Emma flakes even though going was her idea.

Overall, the outline for next week looks good and I'm happy to collab whenever I have free time. We rehearse on Monday and Tuesday this week so I'll be more open after then.

I also don't want Caroline to make the immediate connection that the man she spoke to outside of the bathroom was Grant. But it'll be interesting when she does realize it.

Great, so @looseleaf and I would start. I'll write the first post for tomorrow and then give feedback that you can add your dialogues/extras there.

Would you then also take over the second post, or should we then go straight over to Elinor?

Elinor, probably. I can squeeze in some time to collab with you tomorrow, but I'm going to be busy otherwise until Wednesday.

We can also do it in such a way that you already write your beginning - Aloysius arrives and sits down to Sophie / or the other way around, Sophie comes there to Aloysius.
Then comes the part that I write, where you insert the dialogue and that's it.

Then we don't have to find a common time. We don't have to post the first post right away on Monday/Tuesday.

Posts 2 and 3 are also more filler where we insert some dialogue again, so we could actually all start writing with it / preparing it and just watch, that we don´t repeat ourselves in the dialogues. I would say that only for post 4 will we add one or two sections on how we feel or the reaction to the victim?

=> then we could start the following week (1st week of March( 28th February) with a newspaper article and jump straight to the funeral or again insert a filler week where we write what we are doing until the funeral when it is on Thursday / murder on Monday.
-> only this time with more focus on how does our character reacts to HOG's death? We would only have to insert a short passage where we meet and go to the funeral. Or should it be completely coincidental that the four of us all had the same idea?

=> for the second week of March we could then start with the investigations, his flat, his parents, the priest...

I like that idea! Just depends on whether you want Aloysius or Sophie to get there first.

I don't think we should have a filler week. Maybe the first paragraph or two of our posts explain what we do from Mon-Thur. but then jump into the action with the newspaper and funeral.

I'm not sure on the funeral being coincidental. Maybe character A and B knew they were both going, but didn't know C and D would show up or whatever. I would think some character (preferably one of the regulars- Aloysius, Julian, whatever) would be like "We've worked/seen this guy for months/years now, we have to go to his funeral."

I would say, Aloysius would be the first there and Sophie comes later. This would be also great for Sophie, so she could start talking to him like: "Here again?"

I like your idea of the funeral. Julian and Sophie would probably know. Maybe Sophie can go there thanks to Liam because he was chosen to go there as a representation and then dumped it on Sophie. Julian would then go, simply because he thinks it's better if there's not one person there alone?

-> We could now also start that Sophie and Aloysius get closer during this post (maybe Sophie is drunk enough on one evening to phone Aloysius and asks him if he wants to come to the funeral? => do we have a phone box in the pharmacy?), talk a bit more about our daily life, and so on so that Sophie asks him to go with her to the funeral?

Just catching up on this discussion. I think this all sounds great. I have a feeling Caroline will probably be frustrated with her other friends and be drawn more into to the rest of you at this point so I think she doesn't mind going to the funeral. It probably seems most likely that she'd invite herself to the funeral, especially if people are discussing it openly in front of her.

I'm also going to be busy until Wednesday, but just let me know when you want me to post!

My post is in the pad. looseleaf, you can add your dialogues and text. I´ve still some little things that I will add before I post it, but it will only be Sophie-related. Right now we are at 608 words.

And the end of the post leads that Sophie returns from the bartender to the table and Aloysius isn´t alone anymore.

Awesome, it's good so far! I'll add some dialogue and such in a little bit. I have to finish up some schoolwork.

Also sorry for a double post, but Omni's doing a post about wrapping up the month of LSS and what's happening in each SB so far. Does anyone have an idea for a summary? And should it include/spoil that our characters just found HOG's body?

I can give it a try to write a short one. Are we already in week 4? Then yes, we should add that we found HOG´s body. Maybe as some sort of cliffhanger.

Cool! I filled in the text for your post. Aloysius asks some questions you may need to have Sophie answer, though.

Great. I finish the post later so I can post it tomorrow and I write the short summary for tomorrow, too.

Sorry for the double post.

I posted my post with some additional answers and a better last paragraph.

And here´s a short summary. I don´t know what we add more besides this or if we should expand it.

Spoiler
When the group around Julian, Louis, Caroline, and Sophie meet for the first time at the Golden Vanderbilt, a speakeasy in Chicago, no one expected to share a table again. The speakeasy was too full on this Friday they met for the first time. It also seemed too crowded on Monday when the four met again and an acquaintance developed. Their worlds were too different, connected only by those two evenings. Too fragile it seemed, and yet things turned out differently when they find the lifeless body of the Golden Vanderbilt's accountant in the street.

Critics are welcome.

Awesome! Love the post. I can get one up after the next person, if that's OK!

The summary looks great. If no one has any critiques, I'd be happy to send it to Omni, unless you want to Mailice!
