this is definitely a joke but i love how things are escalating already

That was probably less dramatic that Mage hoped although the whole demon talk might have confused him enough...

Ahh...well...I don't think they'll really grill him enough to reveal his age, more likely he'll end up revealing it to one of the monsters we eventually create and make them fight.

Heh...Mage and Harry's friendship always seems to hit some hurdle everytime it gets anywhere.

As for Vankous, he was just looking for a way to tease Jason, Harry's brother, the Prince of Death and such in my world, he's basically just like Harry, one of the six most powerful beings and while Harry controls darkness, Jason is responsible for death and by extension the demons on our world that umm...I guess sorta act as the police of my version of the underworld, so Vankous here just confused Mage as one of those demons...unlike Harry and Stean here that know a lot more about species types and can see the differences, Vankous and James are easily fooled.

But I think this discussion would probably escalate things anyway

Oh and Stean is genuinely trying to be nice there with the whole hair compliment...not buttering him up or anything.

Now I have to have Mage get a voice crack when yelling for help during a battle.

Their friendship really does seem to keep running into hurdles. >> But I'm determined for both of these two to get friends, so I'll keep trying to push Mage through it. xD

And oooh that makes sense! I was getting the feeling that Jason had to do with the underworld, so it's good to get that confirmation. It also explains why Vankous viewed Mage the way he did.

And well...Stean taking charge there to stop Mage from being given the full Vankous treatment. Aaand...the inklings of our little prank...

And I think now that they'll set off soon, we should design the first monster they'll face soon?

That sounds like a plan! Any thoughts on what the monster should be like? I'm pretty much down for anything. Mage's region doesn't have monsters, so it'll almost definitely be something he's not familiar with - which means his reaction probably isn't going to change all that much no matter what the monster looks like.

Hmm...I'll put up a post soon with them giving Mage a quick rundown of the plan and sort of getting the four of them geared up kind of...and then I think we can possibly skip the walking and cut right to the next monster in your post?

And well...um...for the monster, so I've been playing a lot of Minecraft recently and I was thinking of something that looked like a blaze, this like floating fire spinning monster...and it would be attracted heat and light and require like some serious freezing to kill and such...this is like the most basic idea I had.

A timeskip sounds good to me! And I love the idea of using a Minecraft blaze as our monster.

Great, so I guess we keep its fireball shooting power and the flying thing, impervious to fire based attacks (sorry Mage). So maybe the only way to fully kill it is to complete freeze the thing and shatter it?

That sounds like a great idea! Maybe darkness can weaken it by snuffing out some of its fire? That would give Mage a chance to show off his magic.

Hmm...nice....that would be fun...maybe you need to snuff out the fireballs first to get it to stop floating around so much and you need darkness for that. Then once its on the ground it has to be frozen?

I love that idea! Let's go for it.
