I love that this sb consists of a team of heroines fighting off evil and then when they start to remember their reincarnations they'll probs be like "yes i am she. but also i am he. IDENTITY CRISIS" except mari who... has stayed very consistent thru her past lives lol

hrrmmm surprise attack... I like the idea that there's some event in the school so they'll all be in one place and one minute it's like "yayyy woooo event" then "SURPRISE IM HERE TO DESTROY EVERYTHING"

so like.. during a school assembly? maybe it's spirit week or before a big game. siren's thoughts would be v interesting lol

my vote is for sports day or spirit week but Imma enjoy watching what the rest of us have to say

Consider- if we do Sports Day now, we can save Pride/Spirit Week for later when our kiddies can actually enjoy it and their relationships are a little more developed

@SirenCymbaline, it did! Thanks for tagging me - I've had a really long week and it's only Tuesday and was planning on replying sometime today, but it completely slipped my mind thanks to everything else I had to do before now.

Having the attack happen during Sports Day works well for me! I love the idea of pushing our Spirit/Pride Day later, especially since I know my high school had their Sports Day - we called it Field Day - early in the fall and the Spirit Day/Week leading up to homecoming.

I won't be able to get a post up for at least another week, but I'm really excited to get started with this!

we called it Field Day in the schools I went to too it's just been so long I forgot and called it the name they use in anime hahaaa

When in doubt, always rely on anime.

maybe im just too old to remember high school, but... i don't even remember having any sports/field day lol

also mari is in track and field if you are writing that sport specifically shot put and pole vault but she could do 60m sprint/hurdle if no one else can

From my experience, field day's activities changed depending on the school year. I remember a lot more competitions in middle school and elementary school, but high school's field day was just pretty much "go outside and enjoy the fresh air". We did get food and there were some fun outside activities, but there wasn't really any competitions.

But I totally want competitions, so time to dig up my long-forgotten memories of middle school. >>

dang I legit don't remember this but I am not a sporty person so maybe my brain chose to block those memories out LOL

but also maybe my school district was weird because I distinctly remember having watermelon day in elementary school. as in, everyone went outside.... not becuz of sports, but watermelon. just.... eating watermelon

......I miss watermelon day

...Now I want a watermelon day, too.

(Even if it's not an actual event in the storybook, I love the idea of it being vaguely referenced every so often. Bonus points if it's been really chaotic in the past.)
