Also, I posted! Hades being soft is making me soft. I was actually getting a little bored of writing him before they told Elias what happened, but writing him being comforting is apparently just what I needed. c:

And Hades is starting to figure it out! I want to keep it gradual so it's not godmodding, but he's definitely starting to pick up on them facing individual conflicts.
But he probably has the upper edge because his conflict was first. >>
Hey guys, mostly Mage, this is about the point where Maggie would just walk away. They're Done with this whole situation and they don't want to be used in someone else's drama.
So, maybe we could use that? Have them try to leave and discover something? Maybe that the world isn't 'fully rendered' outside of the bounds of the 'arena' so to speak, or maybe they run into some entity briefly before being swallowed up by the fog and placed right back in the hallway or something.
At this point, the characters may as well get some clue as to what's actually going on and how they might stop it. I do imagine they might be meeting some kind of 'final boss' or something once everyone's faced their 'demons'.
idk, we just need to find a way to deal with the fact that Maggie WILL be walking away in my next post or possibly the one after if i have to stretch it.
@TheMulticoloredCyr, that's a good point! I was starting to wonder how you would keep Maggie engaged when it was so clear Maggie didn't want to be involved. Having them realize that there's a limit to what they see sounds like a great idea, and I also like the idea of meeting some kind of "final boss" - even though the thought hadn't even crossed my mind until you suggested it. >>
I don't have a final boss in mind just yet because I only started thinking of it yesterday, but I can come up with one after you have Maggie leave!
