Jack really IS catching up! *runs for cover*

Um, yeah. So I had my alarm clock set for 3:45 this morning, right? So I could get up early and write, right?

So yeah. I turn off the alarm, think I'll lay there for a few minutes and POOF! All of sudden, the next time I look at the clock, it's 5:18.

There goes my writing time.

So yeah. At the rate I'm going tonight, I'll get 2k done if I'm lucky, because I can't stay up very late if I want to wake up early tomorrow....*sigh*

So yeah. Current word count? 35,493

I've got 32,168 now! *sees Cassandra on the horizon and tries to speed up*

37,306, and my goal is 42k by the end of tomorrow.

Then maybe I can sprint the last 8k on Thursday.

19,043! *takes a deep breath*

And man... do I have things to word pad with tomorrow! I have a sailor telling stories right now and right now I've got two stories planned, but I can always throw in another if the need arises! *grins* This is more fun than I've had in a long time...

Oh, and did I mention that I wrote a pirate song? *eyes glaze over* And now I've got the tune stuck in my head. lol.

Wow, NaNo in less than two weeks?

Gal, I suggest you take a look at the NaNo site and read what it's all about.

My wordcount? 13,498. Yeah, couldn't bother to fit two more words in for an even number, lol. I feel so behind, looking at all your crazy wordcounts. Oh well. Slow and Steady wins the race, hopefully. Or maybe it's just week 2 already and I'm running out of steam. I've resorted to some pretty drastic measures for word count, including characters analysing my literary techniques and arguing over the names of eggplants.

Yeah.

Off to write a couple hundred... I hope to catch up this weekend (and hopefully get ahead!) since I have nothing planned but homework.

I've got over 11 000. I fell behind yesterday because I had to do homework instead. I'm not running out of steam! I'm running out of time to write in!

And a week later, I manage to write more--meaning 2100 count.

Oy, and who would have guessed? an hour or less later, 3027/

If I can stay up until 3:00 mornings, I'll make it without a problem.
