Well done, Cassandra! You've done brilliantly.

I'm almost at 37k.

*applauds Cass* I'm at 24,282. I'd hoped to break the halfway mark last night, but I watched "Avatar: Last of the Air-benders" with the family instead. *grins*

I'm leaving this weekend for Hershey PA and I don't know how much time I'll have to write. We'll see what happens.

Yay! I just hit 40k, I'm now at 40,265 and feeling good. That was my aim for today, and I'm happy. I hope to finish on Sunday, but if not Monday is a definite! Now I can spend my evening relaxing and playing Medieval 2: Total War! Woo!

...5030.

And it likely will sit there until next week; I've got to compete all weekend.

Imp, want to borrow Saphirus for a while? I think he's scared off the inner editor.

Dream_Big, your icon makes me happy. I have an ongoing argument with one of my friends about which are better - pirates or ninjas.

Pirates, of course.

Anyway.

My word count? 20202 according to the NaNo counter. Cool number, huh? And I finally made it into the 20Ks. That makes me happy.

Hopefully I can crank out 5,000 more this weekend so I can officially say I'm halfway and have written more than my previous NaNo.

Thanks very much for the offer, Crysi. ^_^ Saphirus, would, doubtless scare the living daylights out of most inner editors--if you could spare him? It sounds like he's done a good job for you. (Neat excerpt by the way, for Kiens' on NaNo ^_^)

I've got another thousand now at least. 6020.

Go ahead and borrow him, Imp! Rhynaedus can take care of things here for a while. And thanks - I think I'm going to change my excerpt, if I can find a worthy section.

Alex, are you really doing NaNo, or are you just being... you? You really should join in. It's fun! I promise. *grits teeth*

I've added another thousand or so. I ended this one scene, and I'm not sure I want to continue writing tonight, but I guess I'll write until my parents get back with dinner. I'll probably take a good long break, full of smoothies and candy, and then I'll write some more tonight. Really, I'd love to get to 25000 tonight, but I don't think I can crunch out 4,000 more words tonight.

Well, my hard-drive crashed, so I haven't upped my word count up all week (or been online or anything). Luckily my novel was backed up, but here I sit in the library, firmly at 3,000 words. I hate life. !_!

Wooh, go Jack 8).

I'm only at 14,000. Need to catch up, but for some reasons my arm ache terribly - I think it may be the way I type (with my elbows slightly raised, putting strain on my arm muscles).
I wrote the above just for you.
