I think we can still make it work with bringing @Saruka back in. Margaret was set, in skills, to be the leader. Her dying would be a heavy blow to the group still. Also open the opportunity for a new leader.

@Saruka what's your take on that?

I'm about to write my post for this! I'm still figuring out what exactly I want Jaylin to do, but I think they'll storm off for a bit, calm down and then end the post with them finding that secret room you mentioned, @Daughter. :)

I posted! Since the location of the secret room wasn't specified, I had it be underneath the house. I'm not sure how clear it was in my post, but Jay found a grate that's in the secret room - the grate let out some warm area from the room, making the grass die because of the difference in heat. We have a window coming out of our basement, and I've noticed the same thing with it during the different seasons.

I loved that so much !! The discovery of the room was written so well :) I can't wait to see how the others react!
@XxXTheSwordsmanXxX it's your turn to reply !

Hmm..it seems that I will be tasked with describing the monitoring room. Do we want there to be recognition that something is coming? Maybe some reading into the fact that there isn't suppossed to be anyone coming?

i think we should simply have them discover the room and that any sign of danger should probably come in the next round. i think round three will consist of the discovery/preparation for the invaders.

thanks so much for such a quick reply @XxXTheSwordsmanXxX !! I'm starting on round three's first entry now. this is the round in which they'll likely start preparing for an attack.

I loved your reply, @XxXTheSwordsmanXxX! It was cool seeing how the others dealt with Jay leaving without any explanation - I was so caught up writing their panic attack that I forgot how it would affect the other characters.

I can't wait to see what happens in the next post. <3

As much as I don't want to say this, I honestly don't think keeping me in this storybook is the best idea. I go back to school on Monday and I begin rehearsals for the school musical and I'm not sure if I can handle that, and even if I could, I don't think it'd end up being the quality that it should be. I think that the best option is for me to duck out. I was very excited about being a part of this project (and I will certainly read it, don't worry!) but I don't think it's such a great idea anymore. I'm sorry again :(

Sorry to see that you will not be joining us.

@jaybird I am glad you liked it! I didn't want to take your panic attack thing. But Richard has Claustrophobia. I didn't best to make it very from what Jay has.

Wanted to ask a question for the remaining members of the SB -- should I open it again? Perhaps two new members to fill up Margaret and Kayla's spot would do us good.

That sounds like a good idea to me! I'm sure there's some storybookers who would love to write for them. <3
