Bo, having been near the hole in the wall, had received minimal damage. A few pieces of the ceiling had fallen on his head and back, but as far as he could tell, none of it drew blood, and none of it was too heavy.

That wasn't to say it didn't hurt. But he was fine. He stood up straight again, still armed and ready.

"A detonation could destabilize the rest of the building and have it topple down on us," Bo commented. "If you have any explosives or magic to do so, I suggest doing it on the outer wall. That would be out best bet on getting out of here."

Clarice raised an eyebrow at Bo's comment. Having no knowledge about buildings whatsoever, she wasn't sure if what he'd said was true. But he'd sounded so sure of himself that she decided not to question it. "Outermost wall," She repeated, before walking towards the outer wall. "Got it."

Once she reached the wall, Clarice let go of her nose. When it started to bleed again, she grimaced and used the blood to draw a small symbol on the wall. She pressed the palm of her hand over it and muttered something under her breath, and a small section of the wall crumbled to the ground.

"Alright," She said. "Let's go."

Cornyx sits down, breathing hard. His panic isn't gone, it's just as strong as it was before, and it's all he can do to keep it from taking over again. He shouldn't be having such a strong reaction. He knows that. But this...this is too much like before. Too similar to the numerous cages he'd found himself in year after year after year.

Raiden grabbed on to Taber's leg.
"Fluff..." he mumbled. He would probably wake up properly soon, but right now it was all about The Fluff©

Issac began to put away the first aid supplies as Sebastian wandered over to the wall. Gabriel, on the other hand, had taken to wandering the room again. Whether it was out of boredom or because he still wanted to figure out what the purpose of the room was, Issac couldn't tell. But he seemed to find whatever he was looking for; he came to an abrupt stop on the other side of the room. He stared down at the old, stained rug at his feet.

"You're not telling me that they're that stupid," Gabriel said. "Hey, Issac! I need your muscles to help me move the furniture on this."

Issac gave a brief look in Sebastian's direction before going to join him. If he was right on why Gabriel was so focused on the rug, his help was incredibly necessary. It only took the two of them another minute to move the furniture - a couch, a table and a stand with an old lamp on it - out of the way.

"Look," Gabriel said, pointing down at the edges of the carpet. "The carpet must have been moved. There's a thinner layer of dust around its corners, like someone moved it but didn't put it in just the right place."

Issac covered his nose. "It smells the worst over here, too."

"Well, I think we're about to find out why," Gabriel said, stepping off of the carpet. Issac followed suit.

Together, they began to push the rug back. What was hidden enough was quickly revealed; an old trapdoor, one that couldn't have been used all that recently from the dust in the room. And, to their collective relief, it looked like all they had to do to open it was lift up the handle.

Issac tentatively peeked inside.

There was a ladder going down into the darkness below, whatever was underneath hidden by shadows. "Sebastian, I think you won't want to leave yet," Issac said.

Sebastian ran over to where they were.

"Oh," he said.

"Anybody else need help?" Taber said, after attempting to gently push Raiden away from his leg. That's when Taber found the trapdoor. His eyes lit up; finally, something interesting. Taber walked over to the trapdoor and looked inside, dragging Raiden around in the process.

A thought crossed Taber's mind. He looked around the room. "Who has a secret room with another secret room inside it?" he said, scratching his head.

He froze. There were voices, somewhere above him, talking. He couldn't make out words but there were definitely people there.

"Hello?"

"Whoever built this place, apparently," Gabriel answered, though he was currently looking down into the darkness instead of paying attention to Taber. "Anyone else here someone say something from down there?"

Issac and Sebastian nodded. The former of the two took a step forward and looked down. "Hello?" he said, squinting as he looked down.

The young man stood, moving towards the corner of the room where he heard the voices best. "Yes, I'm down here!"

Bo had inched over to the opening Clarice had made on the outer wall, ready to ditch everyone. But now he stood right beside it, watching everyone crowd around the newly discovered trap door. It sounded like someone was trapped down there.

"Does the door lead to where they're trapped? Or are they trapped by the crumbling building as well?"

He reached up, hitting the boards above him to see if he could knock them loose. If he'd heard the last voice properly there was a door. They sounded close, too, so to have it lead to another room directly above him would be surprising.

That would explain, then, why he found that the ceiling made a hollow whump when he hit them.

Taber grabbed the trapdoor and leaned into the hole. Beyond the first couple steps, he couldn't see anything else; it was pitch black. Still, there was no mistaking that voice and the sound of something knocking against wood. Somebody was trapped down there. Somebody needed his help.

Despite how his vision wobbled, thanks to his shaking knees - it was getting much harder to pass things off as 'interesting' - he began to head down the staircase. "Are you okay?" he said. "Give me a second to get down there - I'm here to help!"

He didn't register that Raiden hadn't let go of his leg, but Taber surprisingly didn't trip. If anything, Raiden helped stabilize him.

"Yes, I am unharmed," he answered. "Do you have any way to break through the ceiling? I think it's the only way out."

Raiden had woken up, but had noticed Taber's shaking knees and had decided to stay where he was. At least he was helping the wolf boye somewhat.

"I have my feet," Taber said, grabbing the walls with his hands as he tentatively stepped down each step. "They have claws and stuff. Is that fine?"

Taber didn't wait for a response, because he'd already run into a metal door at the bottom of the staircase. It creaked open, revealing nothing but darkness. Undeterred, Taber peeled Raiden from his legs and walked into the room. The wooden floorboards groaned under his feet. Yep, pulling Raiden away had been a good idea; Taber was about to do something he knew was pretty stupid. Better not to get anyone else hurt in the process.

Leaping up, Taber crashed onto the floor, embedding his claws into the wood. After two or three tries, the floor finally gave way, sending Taber falling into the room below.
