Can anyone tell me things about what the Defense Gaurd is like?

The defense guard is very similar to the order. The only difference is that Kyoah isn't as warm as Sylvetta, and so there is a less friendly feeling to it.

Don't worry about it too much, because the group will be leaving for Wyvern Mountain very soon. If you portray them incorrectly, it won't make a big difference.

So does 'Darks have any type of power that doesn't fit into the above categories.' mean that any individual dark has all powers or have one ability that isn't fire, frost, wind, ocean, or earth?

Firstly, nice post, @Desdemona!

Secondly, everyone welcome @Feltrix to the crew! It's his first storybook, so let's help him should he need it. We all know SBs can be daunting at first.

Feltrix, Darks have powers no other type can do, abilities different from the elements. However, we already more Darks than is truly logical, seeing as they're supposed to be uncommon. I'd prefer if you made a magician of a different class. But if you're set on a Dark type, I can let you. We did lose some of our Dark Magician's writers.

I have various character ideas and, while a dark would give me more options, I can easily adapt to being a non-dark character. I still haven't read all of the story so far, and will chose my character when I've finished. If there are a lot of darks, I won't be one. I like to be unique.

Great. I've come up with a non-dark character that I'm happy with.
