Alright, the SB has been updated a bit, cause the story was kind of old. (And Scar forgot where certain plots went xD)
Anywho, if you are on the Jedi side, you essentially travel with the starship 'The Arwen' to the planet Asyteria, where you'll progress down to the planet itself where the war is going on, to investigate, fight, adventure and what have you.
If you are Sith, you arrive on the Synarian warship that's anchored just outside the atmosphere of Asyteria, where you report to the Commander on board (who happens to be me! Surprise!). After that, you depart for the planet below, to join the fighting, the adventuring, the investigating, and whatever you deem fit.
@verser, once a Jedi Knight trains a padawan from young age to becoming a Jedi Knight in their own right, they become a Jedi Master. So you can totally take on a Padawan.

I just submitted my character! Let me know if I need to change anything! The picture is a bit off; the hair isn't as red as I was hoping, but everything else matched up in that picture so I used it.
