Okay... apparently, members can read inside this forum now. Funnnnn...

@Firestarter has texted @Nate, so maybe Nate will come on and fix this, but seeing as it's early morning where Nate is and he is doing a lot of hiking stuff, don't expect anything quick. It's too early to bug @Meshugenah. And, it's (hopefully) bedtime for me soon, Mary depending.

So, a couple of ground rules:

1. Be extra nice to each other.
2. Do not say any sensitive information.
3. Pretend that this is no big deal with other members that ask.

This means no reporting, but oh well. We can live for a couple of days...

So, I suppose the silver lining of this whole thing is that we lost years worth of the staff forums prior to this... yay. But, at least this means that most of the really sensitive information is gone forever.

Spoiler
Don't tell Nate I said this, but this actually makes me look forward to YWS: Buran. As the database increases on YWS, this whole mod interface is getting way too buggy.

Fortunately, our timing is right... it's April 1st in the states. So people think this is an April Fools prank! :) Just play along, I suppose, until we fix the bug.

I KEEP TELLING PEOPLE IT'S A BAD IDEA. I'm sorry!

Yeah... this is a Nate fix, unfortunately. Everything is where it should be on my end, and I triple checked the forum settings (as well as a few other places that shouldn't break things, but well, logic).

I should be able to create a new forum? But since the bug appears to be in the permissions setting, I'm not sure it'll actually do anything. I'll test that after I've eaten something, though.

Just a quick update - a new forum did nothing at all: it's definitely tied to permissions, and nothing I can fix from my end. @Nate, it's all yours.

Don't look at me, I haven't changed any of the forum settings recently so this wasn't my fault. I also can't work out the permissions thing though. I'm having a look now and to be honest, if Bekah can't do it then neither can I. Definitely a Nate fix.

If it's not Rydia's fault, it's still Rydia's fault.
