April Fools is coming up. Maybe we should do something?

April Fools is coming up in just a few days! Any ideas on what we could do?

Can we change the username colors again?
I love when that happens!

Maybe we should make everyone's avatars the same.

Demeter, that's an awful idea.

Everyone, what if we temporarily stripped all staff of their username colors, said it was some kind of fluke with the system? Then we can gleefully watch mass hysteria ensue as there will be no one on the site with any moderating power to fix it.

We could change the YWS layout and colourscheme to look like facebook!

Just remember... Nate won't be here, so anything that has to do with Nate is out. (Otherwise, I would twist his arm and there would be pigs everywhere.)

We should replace all the control panel buttons with pigs or change the language settings to Swahili. That would be absolutely chaotic.

Swahili still uses the Latin alphabet.

I suggest we go with Tamil instead.

Or, something that people can understand with enough annoyed effort, like make everything sound like a pirate said it. Or flip all the text on the site upside down!

Peyton, that's plagiarism. How many times have we told you that as a JM, this is unacceptable behaviour?! You should be ashamed of yourself.

Just some thoughts:

We've done the color change scheme five million times, so most people would be bored with it.

I don't think anybody knows if SPEW truly exists.

I once changed all the forum descriptions to Pig Latin and... um... broke the site. >.> So anything that has to do with changing the descriptions is probably NOT a good idea. Already, Nate is going to be away on vacation, which means that some sort of site breakdown is inevitable. Let's not push our luck with this one.

As suggested before, anything that requires Nate doing anything is not going to happen.

Since April 2 is apparently my 10th cake day (yay!) and because your April 1 is my April 2, I would looooove it if we could include pigs somehow. That would be grand. For example! @Iggy could change her name to Piggy. It's the least she could do to celebrate.

Well, I guess we decided not to do anything for April first. How boring. *pouts*
