@Buggiedude2340, you chose a Skitty as your prequel character?

...

Does anybody else think that the perfect ironic nemesis would be a Wailord?

Secondly, did anybody name their character Vince? If not, I think I will. Vince Buizel. (Cookie to anyone who can figure out who that's referencing. Hint: It rhymes with the name, and both of them love to race.)

I'd like to point out there's already a Vince the Kecleon, but that's none of my business...

(That statement was joking and should not be taken as serious passive-aggressive behavior. I am in fact perfectly dine with their being another Vince.)

UPDATE:

Post is about 1/4 done, and everything else is fully planified, so I'm actually going to post first and catch up the separated adventures of everyone else afterwards. I should be finished by today or tomorrow.

@Charizard821 Oh my gosh, yes. Polar opposition right there. A freakin' WAILORD as a rival XD

Cookie to @Verser. cx

(And no, I can't name him Vin, because that would be too mainstream. B) )

And why am I not surprised @Tortwag would love the Wailord idea. I'm beginning to think we understand each other in an "I love the ironic and impossible/improbable + references and making devilishly clever plans" sort of way. Wouldn't you agree, Tort? XD

@Charizard821 You pretty much described my way of life there, so OF COURSE we'd understand each other in those crazy aspects :D
(especially the devilish plan part).

Soooooo, who's planning to post next? 'Cause I ENJOYED myself with that last one.

@Tortwag, consider your nemesis updated. And by the way, your post has my approval. (I liked the group's collective exclamation. ;))

@TheSilverFox, I use a website called name-meanings.com for all my naming purposes. The site has a very large database, and the names are listed alphabetically, by gender, and also by nationality. I never have to make up names for my characters anymore, since they have names ranging from English to Welsh to Japanese to even Native American. I'd advise bookmarking the site, since I find it extremely useful.

@Charizard821, you are referencing Vin Diesel. Although, I imagine your character will be more like Paul Walker... I don't why, I simply get that feeling.

@Verser, it will be interesting to see how your Bisharp nemesis will differ from @Robusto's Bisharp nemesis. (Also, consider it updated.) However, you still don't have a protagonist yet, so maybe you can base it off your antagonist. (Infernape is looking especially appropriate now, considering his and Bisharp's typing.)

Finally, I have yet to read the posts, but I shall start doing so immediately after submitting this post. Once that has been completed, I shall get around editing my first post on page one. (For those of you who don't remember, that's the one with the plot updates for those who are behind.)

@Robusto, @Buggiedude2340, and @TheSilverFox, excellent posts!

Robusto, during the past nine months, I have come to grow very fond of characterisation, so nowadays, it is the aspect of writing that intrigues me the most. As such, I loved your interaction between Sully and Alek, and even though Alek is fully evolved, you still depict his young age.

Buggie, it's always interesting to learn more about a character's history, and Flory's case (I see what you did there ;)) is no different. Also, you'll be happy to know that I started watching Star Wars again. My brother and I had last watched it when I was ten and he six, and we had recently installed Angry Birds Star Wars 2 on our tablet, so we decided it was the perfect time to watch the series again. Besides, when you are so young, you miss many of the story's elements. (It is quite exciting to recognise the Imperial March in a scene when Annakin becomes angry and slaughters a village of Tuscan Raiders for killing his mother.) Unfortunately, we have only watched The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, so we aren't anywhere near finished yet.

Silver, Volcanion had not yet featured in the story so far, but already, I feel like I know him well. Your descriptions of Aegeas' surroundings and circumstances are also superb, so well done on that. (I especially enjoy Aegeas' feelings of uncertainty, nostalgia and loneliness.)

EDIT: @Verser, your post was certainly interesting. I don't know who this Banette is, but I'm excited to find out.

EDIT 2: @Tortwag, that was the most entertaining battle scene I have ever read! The first battle theme you had posted (I believe you said it was Twinkiel's Main Battle Theme - actually, I just checked, and it is) was so good, I went and called my brother to come listen and read the first part of the fight (unfortunately, he was too lazy), but I was surprised to find a second one. Nevertheless, that theme was highly appropriate too, and I found myself chuckling at it. The greatest part was naturally the fight between Twinkiel and Darius (their taunts were hilarious too), but I particularly enjoyed the tag-team too. A very commendable post indeed, and after that, I can't wait to read your future battle scenes. :smt023

a) Char and Tort, never speak of Wailords and Skitties again. Clear?

b) I am also not allowing any romance between another character and Katrina, because I feel that it would take away from her charming personality.

c) Continuing along the nemesis pathway, I'm thinking either Houndoom or one of the fossil pokemon. Maybe Aerodactyl.

d) I will post more back story this week. It will be a nice change of pace, compared to all the sewing, biking, and notification page refreshing I've done so far.

OH SNAP SNAP SNAP WRONG MUSIC? DARN IT.

Sorry, I got the music all wrong for that Twinkiel vs Darius post, lemme fix that.

EDIT: fixed. Now lemme read everyone else's post and answer the comments here! I'll edit this post.

EDIT2: Okie dokie, let's get started!
(@AstralHunter Pssst. Twinkiel's still blushing after falling down in your post.)

@TheSilverFox
-I'mma steal your brain so I can keep your amazing descriptions for myself.
Well, we've been over this, but I still LOOOOOOVE the detailed imagery you provided us with in each of your posts. It does elongates the experience and may be boring if you overdo it, but so far, so good. Or at least it's really not boring at all to me.
-aaaaaaaah, Volcanion. Another guy I'd REALLY liek to have a conversation with, but poor Aegeas XD
-I love how youalways remind us that he's life both great and not great at all, though. Poor dude. He needs hugs. Lots of 'em.

@Verser -Well looks like Frost's gettin' used to his life! That's great!
-I have NO idea who this Banette is, but that was some indie horror game stuff right there :O Good job on the descriptions, too. And the Banette's behavior.

@Buggiedude2340 Interesting filler :D I did not expect some human backstory, I should do somethin' about that too, at some point.
-I like how the thought progressed into the flashback, too. Though Jewels might begin to ask some questions after a while. That could be fun as well.

-...Why... Why not Wailords and Skitties T_T But fiiiiiiine, I shall respect your will.
-No romance. Got it!

@Robusto Already commented, but if I had to do that Psycho battle, I really, really, don't wanna mess it up. REally don't wanna kill those two D:

Goin' back to Astral, thanks :D It was super entertaining to write, too, enjoeyd myself with both parts. And yes, I LOVE Twinkiel's main theme, that's why I chose it, it just fits him so well. Energetic, with silly yet catchy lyrics. GO, GO, BRAVO!
As for the second one, it's good that you chukcled, 'cause that was the point :smt003 Twinkiel dancing to that was suppose to be funny too anyway.
Glad you liked that second confrontation as well! You will read more battle scenes written like this in the future, don't you worry!

Um, @AstralHunter? That site of yours... It doesn't have my name in it.
Just... Just sayin'. Also? My name literally means "Clear", but is derived from the words "Hell's Door".

WHOOP DEE FREAKIN' DOO
