PMD: Seventeen Plates DT

Holy.... Well, that was certainly helpful. Now all that's left to do is ask @AstralHunter what I still can and can't do in my next post.

One or two more days is all I ask, then my next post will be up.

@Charizard821, as soon as my next post has been submitted, you can read it for yourself! By the way, maybe you could introduce a miniature time jump three days into the future. Why three? Because @Buggiedude2340's Flurry might have been doing her own research on the Toxic Plate (discreetly, of course) and then sneaks out with Riley and Gabriel to go find it. (You two can decide who they get to fly them to the Alchemist's Tower and whether they actually take Fleur along.) I am glad you're back!

@TheSilverFox, I previously informed the other participants of this SB that I have plans for Keldeo, but as you are new, you will naturally know none of this. Basically, Keldeo is going to be at the Alchemist's Tower already, searching for the Toxic Plate. He will aid my and the other members of my trio's characters in finding it, after which he will leave. Before he does, he requests a favour, but one he can claim later. So, if you want to make an introduction, could you please wait for us to find the Plate first? It will take some time, and I regret having to ask it of you, but I need to you to hold on.

Also, Keldeo plays an integral part in finding the Iron Plate, so you will have to tolerate my using him later on as well. Keldeo will call in his favour and ask Gabriel & Co. to find it for him, as he would rather it not be in Cobalion's hands (in a manner of speaking). After that, he openly joins the Resistance. Fortunately, your character is also only partly associated with the Resistance, so after Keldeo leaves the Alchemist's Tower, he can look up Aegeas and request his help in researching the Iron Plate and finding clues as to where it might be hidden. In the meantime, feel free to interact with the other Swords of Justice - just remember, neither Keldeo nor Aegeas have openly displayed their support for either side, so their interactions must reflect that.

@Robusto, I would post soon, but as I've said, my final year of High School has started, and just coming on to YWS everyday means I finish homework no earlier than 10:00 PM. I would love to make a post every three days, but that simply is not possible; hence, I asked the pace to slow down, if only by a little.

@Robusto, impressive post. A few words about it. First of all, the snapped-neck Pansage... I couldn't help but read this part and look appalled at my monitor. This one hit close to home. I've been watching Pokémon Black and White on Netflix, and Cylan always has his signature Pansage with him, so when I read this, I imagined the poor creature, once a joyous ball of energy, staring lifeless at the cold walls of the entrance to the MD... And then I thought of Cylan's reaction to such a thing... The whole experience was very disturbing for me, because I've never imagined Pokémon that darkly before. Nevertheless, you should feel proud. This is the kind of reaction you want out of readers (even though I'm also helping in the story). You've succeeded in drawing me in and feeling the utter shock when the body was discovered. Great job, and an equally great post! Oh, yes, and on a more cheery note, is it just me, or has Captain Twinkiel Thunderfleece also become Captain Reference Thunderfleece? Like, seriously. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker AND Mortal Kombat? Jeez bro, I'm the reference guy, and I'm telling you, if this Flaafy is sticking with us, I'll be expecting WAY more of these. Also, I KNEW BLOODMOON WAS GOING TO BE A GUARDIAN, I JUST KNEW IT!!!!! Can't keep secrets from me! The only thing I got wrong was the plate he was guarding. Oh well. Dread, Draco... they both start with 'D'. Close enough.

Oh yes, I WILL BE POSTING TODAY! (Confetti is necessary for such an occasion.) I have a feeling you guys will like it too. Riley hasn't had a post from his PoV in a while.

A few more things, @Buggiedude2340 I just looked at the map. Beautiful! I love it! (Except if Articuno and Riley flew north from Greatwood and ended up in the Marsh of Light...) Anyways, I had a question. Is Terraria the name of the Continent? Or an area within the Continent? Also, precisely how long would it take to reach Mt. Providence from Frostpoint and did you include Mt. Icewind and is it still important?

@AstralHunter, is Articuno being held at Providence or Icewind? (If it's Icewind, I need to know the location and time it would take to get there on foot.) Also, you had said your characters would surely follow Riley when he set out on his own. If this is true, I need to know definitely who will and won't be there. A simple "@Charizard821, (insert character name) will be there or won't be there." I ask for everyone to do this, please and thank you. I believe that if the meeting is the first time where we'll all be together, then everyone has equal opportunity to opt in or out of this little side action. Keep in mind, you won't be doing much though. All will be explained in the post. I also feel it should happen relatively soon. Maybe in Frontier Town or Frostpoint village? Those are the two best options I could come up with.

@Charizard821 Read the posts when you can. Twinkiel's Inner Echo has referenced Jack Sparrow, Kid's Next Door and a few other ones. I'm having so much fun with these you have no idea. Therefore, do expet mroe of those... Except he'll progressively stop bein' afraid of using many of them out loud. That aside, Twinkiel and Spadassya will not be goin' with Riley on his side action. Good luck to him, though!

@AstralHunter: Perhaps, in the scale of things, I can incorporate my plot ideas with yours. My idea is that my character (Aegeas) sees a vision of Palkia that is similar to the introduction of this PMD fanfic. He is meditating within the Northern Plains alongside Keldeo when he receives this bit of news, and decides that he wishes to head towards the Resistance, to whom Palkia is aligned, to learn more of the matter. Keldeo is reluctant, and tries to outright leave, but doesn't succeed and joins my character for a time. As they head to the Shrine of Safety, they are attacked by the crazy Hoopa, who wishes to capture Keldeo and interrogate him, in hopes to convincing him to join the New Order. In the fight, Aegeas defends Keldeo and prevents Hoopa from succeeding, but Keldeo and Aegeas run in differing directions, with Aegeas heading towards the Shrine of Safety and Keldeo heading towards the Alchemist's Tower (his motivation being to, considering Hoopa, help the Resistance). That's where your part of the plot rolls along. I'm supposing that the quests for the Toxic and Iron Plate occur before the meeting - if not, then I think I will still have Aegeas head towards the Shrine of Safety, and maybe run into some friendly (and not so friendly) legends along the way. Of course, if you disagree, then I'm negotiable, and we can work something out, if that's fine with you. Just though I'd let everyone know my plans in the story.

Oh my god. Not sure whether to thank you @Tortwag, or be super annoyed. Either way I ended up listening to all nine minutes of it. Anyways, thanks for letting me know. Also, I already spent an hour or two catching up, so I saw all those references. I loved the Captain Jack one. Speaking of Captain Jack... My revenge. And since I listened to the whole Cpt. Falcon thing, you have to listen to all TEN MINUTES of this.

@AstralHunter: Although my plans are to have Aegeas eventually join the Resistance, I'll be sure to show indecision for his character. In a way, he's like Red on Mt. Silver - he's isolated himself for a long time and so he has almost no clue about what's going on in the world around him, save Palkia's hint and the knowledge he received when Keldeo told him (briefly) of the Resistance and New Order. And yes, Tortwag, you will receive vindication. It is likely that I will have Aegeas meet Hoopa somewhere along the way, as well as another enemy (Dialga, who gifted Aegeas with his long age but also has the ability to take it, and Dialga is somewhat willing to do so as Aegeas proves to be threatening to the NO). But, at first, he'll be indecisive and somewhat able to be manipulated. I seriously need to see that map...anyone know where it is?

I believe it's page 28 of the DT @TheSilverFox. I was looking for it today too and found it there, I believe. Also, remember that Dialga's Riley's nemesis, so whatever you do, just be sure it does not interfere with his goal of destroying both Articuno and Riley. (If you haven't read my first post, you'll understand.)

Glad you liked Twinkiel's references, too. He does need to make more of them out loud. He just doesn't like repeating exactly what his Inner Echo says, he feels like a sheep.

@Charizard821: Thanks. . I went to the appropriate page and found Buggie made the map. It looks epic, and I have a clear view of where my character is going direction-wise. Of course, with Dialga already being Riley's rival and all, I guess I'll bail on that hypothetical idea. I don't want to cause a bit of confusion with the same legend being at two places at once. . I'll have to see what comes to mind (I usually work with general plots anyhow, so here's to whatever goes... ) @Tortwag: Let's just say you've officially scared me now. . And this last note's just for everyone in general: I've heard a little bit about Volcanion being a legendary Pokémon that is going to be introduced. Of course, all I've got is all rumors and what not. However, if it is formally introduced, are we gone to have any plans with him/her/it?
