PMD: Seventeen Plates DT

Hey, thanks for letting me in! . I'm a little eager to get my character up and all, so if I smile too much, doesn't hesitate to slap me. . I think I'll use Example 1 that @AstralHunter presented. It's my favorite of all of them, and I went and created a little backstory in my head based on the option. So thanks.

Now, here's just some info on my character....



Name: Aegeas (Sorry Swampert. )

Gender: Male (Sorry @Robusto. )

Age: 23 (though he has been gifted 'longevity' and has lived for far longer)

Personality: Brave, temperamental, skilled and tenacious, he's able to engage in combat effectively and disperse his foes, though he does not often enjoy battle and sometimes wishes for peace and quiet. Irritate him, though, and he becomes quite wrathful, capable of knocking out his foes in battle and resisting efforts of some of the less-powerful legends. However, he is kind to his friends and acts as bravely as he can, willing to help others. He is also a strict vegetarian.

Species: Dewott (Sorry @AstralHunter I hope this isn't too OP, by the way. His long existence in the land has led to his leveling up, though I added his not entirely-developed ease to join into battle to sort of counterbalance that, if you don't mind.)

Strengths: He is capable of using his dual scalchops effectively, and is skilled with Water-type moves, as he was taught by his ally, Keldeo. He can also use a Protect shield at various times, and it has the power to block some of the more ferocious attacks of opponents.

Weaknesses: He hates frigid conditions, and has some vertigo. Too, he can be a little unwilling to battle, thanks to some of his previous experiences when he was summoned to help save the world in times past.

Anything Else: Not in particular. His mental intuition has sharpened over the years, and he is able to sense things that are either invisible, or sneaking behind him. This, too, is from his long training with Keldeo. His scalchops are also incredibly hard and can last almost indefinitely, though they can be broken with enough force.

Ice Beam (ironically. )

His Legendary Ally: Keldeo.

His Legendary Enemy: Hoopa, the most hated of the New Order, and the complete opposite of Aegeas's natural, more positive traits.

I have no problem with it. And for those who read the Ditto post, at no point did I say he was a Ditto. He just happened to look like one... at that point. It's about time Keldeo gets some spotlight, and I hope you know what you're doing having Hoopa as a nemesis.

And @TheSilverFox, if you could transfer your character details to the character list, that would be wonderful. Welcome aboard.

Oh, yeah, looks like I forgot some info. Whoops.

Aegeas and Keldeo are originally found at Northern Plains, and proceed in the direction that they need to in order to head to the meeting. I was thinking that, if I wanted to create an opening part, I might have a conflict with an opposing legend, such as Hoopa. I'll make sure to add a bit of a backstory, as well as Aegeas's memories and past thoughts of his human life, to keep the story interesting and similar to the characters that you have created.

Where is this meeting going to take place? I've only found out the story recently, and I've been trying to read through as many parts as I can, but time is something I don't have much of, sadly. I'll be sure to make an introduction of my character to the team when the time comes for the meeting.

Hey, thanks Robusto. . Yeah, I read a little about Hoopa, and it's the funniest thing - my brother, who happens to be an even bigger fan of PMD than I am, came up with the theory that Hoopa's rings were responsible for the realms it creates in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and these spots contained legends. I'll be sure to portray Hoopa as a corrupt, evil character and do it to the best of my abilities. Thanks! .

I can probably post Saturday, but I'd prefer if one of the other two posted first. I'm trying to keep up with the program during lulls in rehearsal, but I have no clue what the week will bring.

Hello?! You can't seriously expect ME to post next! I'm TEN POSTS BEHIND! (So sad...) I'll ask again, in case you guys didn't see. I will be reading the posts at some point, but in the meantime, could someone please explain what has happened since Arthur's first appearance in the battle.

@Charizard821 NOBODY MOVES. I'll sum you up on things, Charizard. That's another think I really like doing: just lemme finish my 3 hours of school today and I'll be there with a swift summary.
@TheSilverFox keep smiling. Also, DARN IT YOU CHOSE HOOPA. I should've changed my nemesis for this guy, I really wanna confront him at some point. That aside, you picked a badass Dewott with twin water blades. That's PERFECT, can't wait to see him in action.

Soooooo... Ahem. Here we go. The last you posted as Riley, your group had found the Pixy Plate... or rather the lack of Pixy Plate on the Mystery Dungeon you had finished.
Bummer.
Right after that, Twinkiel Thunderfleece was introduced in the SB and had an encounter with the Knife's Edge, a tribe of snake Pokémons. He managed to get himself into a battle to see if he was worthy of their trust.

Ah, yes! After that, Robuto posted a few more descriptions of more places that we might eventually run into. Then, Frost the Victini, who had previously been captured by the NO (more precisely a Crobat and 2 Venomoths) woke up in the Greatwood Forest, got himself free and collapsed from exhaustion. He was then picked up by the Knife's Edge, the very tribe who was taking good care of my Twinkiel. What are the odds, right? And it gets worse since the Victini is taken prisoner to their lair. SO yeah, still not safe. After that event, Twinkiel managed to survive his battle and befriends the Knife's Edge. Since he's interested in seeing the prisoners, he goes to them and BAM. he meets Frost. Thing is, Twinkiel had been followed by Celebi all along, and she urges the two to join them so they can leave. they're joined by a Clefable named Ariala, who was also a prisoner and talked to Frost about how she was cursed by Hoopa.
Keep that data in mind
So the four of them go back to where Frost had been captured, get themselves a Dawn Stone and get the heck out of the forest.

Meanwhile, Ren the Blaziken makes a Jump of Fate in the Crevice and Lugia loses some orbs due to a stupid bet.
Moltres the Mafiosi for the win.
Oh and they discover the Palace of... Fire, I believe, or Lava maybe, but they ALSO discover that the NO came here before them.

Comin' back to my group, Twikiel, Frost, Celebi and Ariala reach the Mt.Frostwind, where they're supposed to sneak in, get Kyurem by surprise, destroy the idiot and get some info about stuff. Like, where the No are gonna strike next for example. But, oddly enough, Ariala disappears along the way, and the group is taken by surprise by Kyurem who saw them coming a mile away thanks to a Gengar spy.
...Clefable goes. Gengar arrives. HOW ABOUT THAT.
Meanwhile, Bloodmoon enjoys himself with Bidoof meat (That made my day) and goes to a Palace with Genesect.
After that, a really important event arrives (courtesy of Robusto), as three andom guys are introduced to us. They're from the NO and wish to become soldiers against... Well.. Us. But they're like super friendly, so hey what gives.
Then Astral shows up and writes the next part, introducing a new plant NPC (Fleur), while imagining the next part of the Great Xerneas Rescue Plan. Said plan involving you guys goin' to Cassandra for some help.
Switching back to Ren's group, Robusto chooses Zulu, Lugia, Ren and Absol as the next group to complete the mystery dungeon. Meanwhile, Cresselia receives a call from Celebi and leanrs that 1: they've got a new human, 2: FROST IS ALIVE.
Then 15253 writes the next bit, which is the whole Mystery Dungeon part, ending it with a magnificent charge of Heatran and FREAKIN' GROUDON.

Meanwhile, as their fight begins, mine begins and goes along, as Twinkiel, Celebi and Frost must take down Kyurem. Twinkiel evolves by the end of the post, and collaspes soon after that because OPness. Oh and then I posted a bonus chapter.
so, remember that fight Twinkiel did during his second post? To earn the Knife's Edge's trust? Well, the guy he defeated got away with a friend and basically becomes a recurring rival. Will that have any impact? Maybe.... MUHAHAHAHAHA- Sorry. Had to.
Ahem.
So Verser masterfully makes us get the heck out of the place (in a much faster way than I would've ever been able to do, kudos to that), and the fight between Ren's group and Groudon is engaged through Zulu's point of view. AND THEY OWN THIS FIGHT.
Then Robusto posts another glorious Bloodmoon post eding with the badass Zoroark that is Bloodmoon being literally sucked inside of a mirror.

~I'm bein' strangled by the man, in, the mirror...~ Love that song.

Then Fluffy returns in the capable hands of Buggie, whom we unfortunately hadn't seen in a while. The Snorunt proceeds to tell Gabriel how stupid his plan is aaaaaaand what she fears happens as they all get scoled by Cassandra the Jinx.
What are the odds.
Astral then switches points of view and introduces Jewels and Raikou, a distant duo lookin' for the Earth Plate. Also, Jewels has all her memories. And she's a Gothorita (basically a black Kirlia. Psychic, too).
15253 writes the aftermath of the Groudon battle (which ends in a quite cute manner for Ren), and Twinkiel wakes up on the back of a Salamence.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeyup.
The Flaaffy's group is coming back to the Greatwood Jungle (order of Cresselia), and they meet Twikiel's Nemesis along the way (Thundurus). Twinkiel falls to the jungle with him and... Finds himself in the middle of a war between the Knife's Edge and a rival tribe.
I love doin' that.
After that Latias gets Kidnapped by Hoopa, Robusto introduces another mysterious character and... *re-checks* Wha? I post again? Darn, i was really eager.
So I post again, and Twinkiel becomes the strategic guy of the Knife's Edge's forces. So basically he's stuck in the war and MUST win it to get to the Palace of Fauna.
Robusto posts yet another event buster post, as Cresselia's group arrives at the Jungle to disbalance the war, revealing in the process that the NO wanted to do that anyways.
Well darn it.
Meanwhile, Bloodmoon literally fights against himself. Fun fight. He also fights the Guardian, gets owned by a possessed Genesect and becomes the next Guardian.

that aside, the 3 NO friendly guys get an existence reminder post, and one of them goes to Frostpoint. YES. Where YOU are. That aside, Frost, Celebi, Ariala and Fleedjio (the Salamence) learn about the war and Ren goes with Moltres to kick so Zapdos butt, as well as LOTS of Skarmories.
Buggie arrives again and posts an encounter post between Flurry and Arthur, one of the three No friendly dudes. After that Twinkiel decides to show his face again as the war continues and freakin' Skarmories are rainin' down on them.

He meets Zulu in the process, scares him to death, meets the rest of his group and they begin a plan: they'll fight Zapdos while Twinkiel keeps on goin' with his war. He does just that, wins it, goes with Spadassya (an member of the Knife's Edge and daughter of their chief) to the Palace of Fauna (she guides him, since she knows the way). Celebi arrives and joins the group, soon followed by Zulu who warns them about Tornadus bein' already in the place.
Well darn it.
Meanwhile Frost gets owned by Thundurus, who escapes. Still hatin' on that scene, I like Frost a lot.
And finally, Robusto posts the next Mystery Dungeon exploration with Twinkiel, Spadassya, Celebi and Zulu.
