PMD: Seventeen Plates DT

Hello everybody, I'm TheSilverFox. If you can assume from my avatar that I'm a Pokémon fan, then you deserve a hundred dollars. . I've been a fan of the games for about 3 years now, and I've got a lot of knowledge on the topic, so I've been pretty eager to find a place on here to express that. As a result, I've been looking around the YWS, and I happened to stumble upon your awesome story. . I'm just curious as to whether or not you guys would let me join, just because I've seen that you've gone a far distance into your topic, and I'm unsure if a new user might upset the balance of things. If so, that's great, and I'll be sure to get my bio and everything up by tomorrow afternoon (school + time restrictions = headache. ) If not, I understand, and I'll be sure to continue reading your series, because you guys have something awesome going. Just wanted your opinion. Can I join?

As the owner, I'll have the final say, but I would like to hear the opinions of others on this matter. (especially you @AstralHunter)

keep in mind, I wasn't planning on closing submissions until after the Palace of Fauna. I just didn't want any more secondary human characters from the people already in.

A new member? A Ninetails Avatar (gimme my hundred dollars )? A Pokefan? You're SOOOO in. I wonder what Pokemon you'll choose... That aside, welcome aboard, @TheSilverFox ! Fan of the games from 3 years, huh... Interesting. Have you played the Mystery Dungeon series yet?

@TheSilverFox, I am happy you can join us! I have nothing against new participants, but all of the spots for humans have been taken. However, I have several ideas of how you can introduce a new character:
1. Robusto mentioned that humans have been brought over on previous occasions as well. With that in mind, perhaps your character can be one of the old humans, who, just like Absol, accepted the reward of longevity. Your character will not have the same opportunities for development as ours have, but yours can automatically be more powerful without being OP.
2. Your character's appearance can be related to Robusto's Ditto-post. Perhaps your character came back from there to inform the Resistance their attempts at locating other worlds actually worked... (If this is the option you choose, please discuss the details with Robusto.)
3. Your character is just one of the many Pokémon that reside on Terraria. Whether you are aligned with the Resistance, the New Order, or remain neutral is then up to you.

No matter who your character is, I think he/she should be introduced after or during the meeting - it will greatly benefit the flow of the story, as the meeting is a milestone which presents the perfect opportunity for a character introduction.

@Robusto, if I may, I would like to replace Yveltal with Ho-Oh as Gabriel's nemesis. Yveltal has had no contact with Gabriel whatsoever, and since he is an intricate part of @Charizard821's subplot for Articuno, it would be better if I had as little use for him as possible. Besides, Ho-Oh has yet to make an appearance, and I could put him (or her; I have yet to decide) to excellent use.

@15253, @Verser and @Tortwag, I have already begun with my post for Gabriel, but if you want to read more of Jewels, then naturally I shall oblige!

PS: Robusto, perhaps you can create a challenge in the Challenge Master Thread after the meeting? Like I said, it is the perfect opportunity, and everyone will then have a new start, of sorts.

@AstralHunter Ho-Oh is generally perceived as a male in both the anime and the games (not sure if it counts, but especially in French). This is merely informative, and as it's a genderless legendary, you can do whatever you want with it. Just keep that in mind, if it helps you decide.

Oh? A Challenge? That would be fun indeed. I...Don't really have ideas for those, though, never done any.

@TheSilverFox, if your character is to be a Ninetales - just guessing here - then you don't need to receive longevity as a gift, since I think 1000 years provide for a long enough lifetime.

@Tortwag, so I'm to post for Gabriel first? (I think I'll keep Ho-Oh male, as originally planned.)

80 NOTIFICATIONS?!?!? Exam week ends and after four or five days I go on YWS and have 80 Notifications?! I think I might cry.... What the heck happened while I was gone?! Someone please sum it up because I'm something like nine posts behind! Anyways, on a better note, I should be getting back into the swing of things, as exams for me have ended. That means posting, and more Tale of a Charmander, @Buggiedude2340 and @AstralHunter. As for your question @Tortwag, I actually did post something. It's out of the GR but it's a poem called The Sun Will Rise.
