Allison Levesque "Honey, you are just going to crash and burn."
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Power: Smoke
Physical Description:
Tall and slender, toned body. Olive complexion, not a freckle on her face. Smoky gray eyes that conceal any emotion but arrogance, and usually accompanied with blank, narrowed brows. Golden hair loosely falls over shoulder and end in a curl, almost like a faint flame.
Nuances:
If Allison had to be described in three words, it would be sassy, arrogant, and hotheaded. Her tongue is sharp and quick to say something snarky, offensive, or foul, often times sugarcoating words by saying "honey" or "sweetie." Allison wants things done her way and will become vicious if done otherwise. She's really easy to anger, especially when drinking.
Personal Background:
Growing up in a small town in Georgia, Allison had a laid-back and simple childhood. She was always the rowdy and headstrong girl in the neighborhood, but she strove with excellence and was eventually admitted into her top school, Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, which was one of the top STEM school in the nation. Leaving town, Allison was eager to make new friends, go through the college experience, and learn to be an engineer or some kind of whiz-kid scientist. And perhaps she was just a little to eager, but never would she have guessed that that initial excitement would change her life forever. First week in, and she was already partying—just like all of the other students. It was one blurry, drunken night, and she remembered fumbling for her car door. Then, before she even knew what happened, police cars were everywhere and her car—no, two cars—were wrecked. Ambulances carried bodies away, and under her drunken stupor she realized that she did this. Allison was only eighteen and about to start college, and she had already killed a mother and a child. Her identity was closed off, but the memory still haunts her. She was trialed and shortly convicted, and she did serve jail for several years. Eventually she was bailed out, but her life was gone—slipped from her fingers, unable to turn around and repeat itself. So here she is now, Allison Levesque at age 26, with still a life of a train-wreck.

Other: Ironically, Allison made most of her income by becoming a bar tender, and she became a controlled alcoholic. She also smokes time-to-time, though not so much that it became a regular habit.
Situations:
It’s dark in Atlanta during the war, and a dog scares you by jumping in your way. How would you react? Would you let that dog live? Would you feed it or leave it be? Damn dog. I'd kick it out of the way, maybe curse out loud, then continue walking forward. Your friend is stuck underneath a large piece of metal, and you face a decision, either go out of your schedule to spend hours trying to help this person, or end their suffering. What would you do? It depends. Do I like this friend? Is this friend a total airhead? Is she or he whining and complaining and begging? If the answer is yes to all of these, then no, I will not help. Maybe if they ask nicely, I can end it quickly for them. But in reality, a friend of Allison's, no matter how stupid or annoying they are, would be a friend worth saving. There’s a small child that has been injured by your power. Do you try to help this child recover and take care of them or do you end their life, saving them from permanent scarring, both physically and emotionally? What do I look like, a heartless creature? I wouldn't kill the innocent kid...but it's not like I'd save the kid either... This isn't my problem. I'd just take the kid to the doctor and let him take care of it. And finally, the world has turned its back on you. It hates you. You’ll never belong anywhere. People call you a coward and a witch, and if they could, you would be dead or thrown in the deepest, darkest place they could find. But, there is hope in where there seems to be none. This could all be amended, yes it would be a long and grudging process, but it all starts with one decision: Are you willing to forgive humanity’s ignorance in a desperate time of your life, or will you turn your back to the fools who turned their backs to you when you needed it the most? I hate these questions... People turn their backs on me? People hate me? Sure, alright. I don't give a damn. In fact, it's good that they don't want to to talk to me. They're not worth my time anyways. Forgive them? Probably not. But go against them? That's something else. See, people make mistakes. I'm not going to be bloodthirsty angry at them for being ignorant. Believe me, I should know.

Seth is tall and he’s an intimidating presence that demands respect from any and all personal. He has buzz cut hair, piercing green eyes, and pale skin. He’s typically seen with his dark navy blue jacket from his military days around his shoulders wearing a plain white t-shirt and he prefers slacks or just regular pants.
Nuances:
He is very charismatic he shows to be a great up standing guy. But he absolutely despises failure with a burning passion. But he knows some failure is inevitable, so he tries to be patient with people. Those who fail to uphold their duties and respondisbilies see the darker more brutal side of him. But he never shows this brutality in public, to those of the public he is caring, devoted, polite, and above all a leader. He shows to be incredibly smart, having a close genius level IQ and putting it to very good use as he was a career Marine.
Personal Background:
Seth is a brutal man, he had a rough childhood where his father physically beat him when he failed to do something. Failed to get straight A’s, failed to get whatever. He joined the Marine Corp when he was 18 but by then he had already inherited his fathers ways. He spent the next eleven years of his life he progressed though the ranks quickly thanks to his charisma and intelligence, eventually he earned Sergeant Major before charges of brutality and dishonorable discharge. He was to return home to Atlanta where he would be put under house arrest until court date could be scheduled but fate played it’s hand and the Harbinger Syndrome appeared.

Situations: (You don’t need to put anything here, but to describe what this is for: This is my way of seeing how your character might react to certain types of humanity. Please answer as your character in these and be as truthful as you can whenever it comes to it Thanks!)
It’s dark in Atlanta during the war, and a dog scares you by jumping in your way. How would you react? Would you let that dog live? Would you feed it or leave it be?
I would feed it, I could always use a companion or two to keep me company. Or potentially train them as attack dogs so an intruder late at night is going to regret his actions that night, whatever comes first.
Your friend is stuck underneath a large piece of metal, and you face a decision, either go out of your schedule to spend hours trying to help this person, or end their suffering. What would you do?
Rarely do I call anyone a “friend,” but I would choose to help this person as good deeds will have you remembered for when you are in need of assistance later on. Besides killing is to good of a punishment for anyone, I like to watch people suffer for any mistakes they might have made.
There’s a small child that has been injured by your power. Do you try to help this child recover and take care of them or do you end their life, saving them from permanent scarring, both physically and emotionally?
I would not be able to take care of this small child admittedly, but I would do everything in my power to find this child a home. But I would never loss control of my ability If I had hurt them then it was in punishment to someone who has failed me.
And finally, the world has turned its back on you. It hates you. You’ll never belong anywhere. People call you a coward and a witch, and if they could, you would be dead or thrown in the deepest, darkest place they could find. But, there is hope in where there seems to be none. Turned it’s back on me? Impossible, no, you must be joking honestly...
If the world has turned it’s back on me, then I would burn the whole world to the ground.

5'9" tall, dark blond hair streaked with natural highlights, pale skin, hazel eyes, slim build. She prefers dressing in blue jeans, a tee shirt, and Redwing logger boots-- but she has learned to be comfortable in just about anything, from her years as in a professional setting as well as the years she spent in poverty as a child. She tends to be highly unconcerned with her appearance, and her hair is usually in a gnarled mess (though she is obviously older than shown above-- it's an old picture. She tends to avoid cameras whenever she can.) that exhibits her wild personality
Nuances:
She can adapt to nearly any situation. Naturally she is snarky and willing to put herself out of her comfort zone just to give people a laugh or relieve the tension in a group-- however, if she doesn't see a need for comic relief, she is really quiet and introverted, needing time to herself fairly regularly. Regardless of whether she's being loud or quiet, however, she has a short temper and can be quite fearsome when someone sets it off. She has also been known to nurse grudges for years.
Personal Background:
Alina was born into poverty, her father abandoning her mother before she was even born. As a result the only father-like figures that Alina knew were her mother's boyfriends, which seemed to change each week-- the worst of which abused her, the best simply ignored her existence. She was forced to grow up quick and hard, in an attempt to defend herself from the boyfriends and her alcoholic mother. Always told she would never amount to much, she was determined to prove everyone wrong-- and went on to get her Ph.D in parasitology. She worked for the CDC for a few years, but when she contracted the virus they were working with, she was promptly cut free from the program and thrown inside the barrier. She swore she'd get revenge.

I would probably kick it if it came too close to me before I could identify what it was, and whether or not it was friendly. I would let it live if it didn't attack me, but it would depend how big of a dog it was whether I fed it or not. A small dog would be on its own-- a large dog would be fed in hopes of befriending it as a new guard dog.
Your friend is stuck underneath a large piece of metal, and you face a decision, either go out of your schedule to spend hours trying to help this person, or end their suffering. What would you do?
Friend? Not likely. But if I did manage to find someone I'd call a friend, then I would stay and help them out from under the metal, informing them the entire time about how big of an idiot they are.
There’s a small child that has been injured by your power. Do you try to help this child recover and take care of them or do you end their life, saving them from permanent scarring, both physically and emotionally?
I would find someone else to take care of the child, giving them a few dollars if it would help persuade them. I don't like children, but I wouldn't kill one-- especially not one with the misfortune of being in the same situation as the rest of us: trapped.
And finally, the world has turned its back on you. It hates you. You’ll never belong anywhere. People call you a coward and a witch, and if they could, you would be dead or thrown in the deepest, darkest place they could find. But, there is hope in where there seems to be none. The people who put me in this prison weren't ignorant. They deliberately took away my freedom and happiness. They're all going down, just as soon as I can find a way to break free.

Aura is tall, and isn’t physically strong except when it comes to running, and then he can fly… His blue eyes mirror the sky—blue and clear. His sandy blonde hair is usually cut short, but occasionally he allows it to grow into an unruly mop.
Nuances:
Aura is a personal person… except he can’t talk to anyone. Those he does talk to have to endure brief conversations because words don’t come easily to him. But the few friends that he does have mean everything to him. He is a very determined person. If he decides to do something, there is no stopping him. He will fight to his last breath to carry it out… unless you can convince him that he is wrong. But he tends to be somewhat indignant when he is told that his plan just stinks.
The big picture matters a lot to him… but so do the little things. Those little details that are left out—they are captured by him.
Personal Background:
Aura is an orphan. More than that, he is completely alone in the world. His name was given to him by a group of people who found that there was an… aura that seemed to surround him, even at such a young age. The name stuck with him, but he tries to forget its origination. Tries to forget that his name was just another thing that separates himself from everyone else. But he has been brought to the rest of humanity, away from his solitude, because he has something that only a few people have. A chance to make a change.

Other: This is Me. Timmy. Got it? First storybook with me as the character.
Situations:
It’s dark in Atlanta during the war, and a dog scares you by jumping in your way. How would you react? Would you let that dog live? Would you feed it or leave it be?
Aura wouldn’t feed it… Too preoccupied with everything going on around him, and wouldn’t think of it. But he would let the dog live. He would simply shoo it away, after giving it a pet, and thanking it for being one of the only normal things out there.
Your friend is stuck underneath a large piece of metal, and you face a decision, either go out of your schedule to spend hours trying to help this person, or end their suffering. What would you do?
To end their suffering would be murder, Aura thinks. He would spend the precious time to help his friend out.
There’s a small child that has been injured by your power. Do you try to help this child recover and take care of them or do you end their life, saving them from permanent scarring, both physically and emotionally?
Aura would try to help the child recover, using every possibility he possesses. And if nothing worked, he would simple watch and help the child die painlessly—but not ending their life.
And finally, the world has turned its back on you. It hates you. You’ll never belong anywhere. People call you a coward and a witch, and if they could, you would be dead or thrown in the deepest, darkest place they could find. But, there is hope in where there seems to be none. Humanity has betrayed Aura. Betrayed his kind. But that doesn’t change the fact that he was once one of them, and is still somewhat like them. He doesn’t find it in his heart to turn his back on them, no matter if they do so to him. He would forgive their ignorance.

Maryanna stands 5'7" tall. She has wavy red hair that reaches just below her shoulders. She prefers to wear it in a ponytail although she'll wear it down if she's too lazy to do anything with it.
Nuances:
Maryanna is generally a shy girl. She isn't one to strike up a conversation. But she will join conversations if prompted. It's not unlikely to find her sitting, staring into space, lost in her own thoughts. She's an extremely loyal friend. Which is to her advantage and disadvantage at times.
Personal Background:
Maryanna's family wasn't the closest. Her parents seemed to never have time for her. They were always running about, too involved in their own lives to be involved in hers. She has a little sister named Stella, but Stella ran away a year ago at the age of 17. None of them have seen her since. Maryanna is in search of something that she can consider a home, no matter what that could be.

Seeing as it's dark, I'd probably be completely freaked out. But after a while, if it is a friendly dog, I'd come up to it and comfort it. But only after making sure that its owner wasn't around or that it's a stray. I like dogs. They're cute.
Your friend is stuck underneath a large piece of metal, and you face a decision, either go out of your schedule to spend hours trying to help this person, or end their suffering. What would you do?
There's no option here; I'd save them. Or at least do everything in my power to try. How could I just stand there knowing that my friend was dying?!
There’s a small child that has been injured by your power. Do you try to help this child recover and take care of them or do you end their life, saving them from permanent scarring, both physically and emotionally?
I want to say that I'd help that child recover. But in all honesty, I'd probably be in too much shock to do much.
And finally, the world has turned its back on you. It hates you. You’ll never belong anywhere. I'd forgive humanity. After all, they were just being ignorant by turning their backs on me. And they need help. How can I refuse?

Looks good to me! Craz and Carina, since you were basically neutral in the situations, I'm gonna ask you guys which group you want to be in, because I want everyone to be in one of the two groups by the time I make my intro post.
