This is like a dark, mature version of adventure time.
Set in a post-apocalyptic earth, it tells the story of Akira, a young "Homo Superior" and, presumably, the last human on earth who has awoken from cryo-stasis and is adjusting to a weird, yet changing world.
Now, he is now on an adventure of discovery, heroism, and romance, learning more about the new world he's living in and the new inhabitants of earth. However, some demons will resurface from his past and Akira will have to get stronger to face them.
