Rune finds himself braking into a prison. To save someone that had been taken away from him years ago. But he doesn't do it out of love, but fear.

Maven has now been busted out of prison by her brother, Rune. He takes her back to his hideout where she makes an unlikely and suspicious friend.

A storm interrupts Maven's plan to leave the cave and after some sword training she finds herself talking to Fyron Crane yet again.

A new main character is introduced. And Maven is now secretly training Fyron to fight.

Rune finds himself speaking with Maven, the last person he wants to have a conversation with. And Fyron is interrogated about the daggers.

Maven takes a walk through the forest, where she comes across a pond, which stirs up odd feelings. But then she's attacked by four men.

Maven struggles to decide what do after she awakes from her attack.
