Eden

"I guess we have to get going then." I said. "There's one place in the forest that the soldiers could not find us in."

Everyone looked at me. Ebba asked, "Well? Where is it?"

"My father is one of the leaders of a large gypsy clan. We have been fighting the soldiers for years and they have never gotten to us. It is the only way to keep safe. Besides, we have three hundred to four hundred warriors. I bet you could need the help."

Sorry it's short.

Writing once a day keeps the voices away, and I've created a blog all about it: Daily Dose.
...and I'm now trying to create a user group based on the idea! Tell me if you're interested!

Aliya

"I agree." Aliya said. "While I was being taught, my teacher often brought me to the gypsy land with her to buy different magical odds and ends. The gypsies have always been against Kenzel and are very loyal to those who also oppose them."

"Then I guess we're off to the gypsies." Adam said. "Let us set forth!" he thrust his arm forward dramatically.

Aliya rolled her eyes and Ebba groaned. Adam could be a real pain sometimes.

"Oh come on now, Princess." Adam placed an arm around Ebba.

"Get off me." she insisted and stepped away.

"Yes, please get away from us all." Jarin muttered in addition.

Aliya smiled. Though Adam could be a pain, he did often help to lighten up a situation.

"Hey, I got someone on my side." Adam said when he noticed my amused smile.

Aliya laughed. "We'll see."

"Aliya." Demeter appeared at her side. "You never did finish telling me about your idea."

"Oh yeah." she remembered. "Well basically, the royal soldiers have next to no experience with magic. We could utilize the powers our little group here has, and maybe if we could round up a few more willing mages. We would have a powerful force that Kenzels army would find difficult to deal with. Although there is an issue with any hand to hand combat that we may encounter...we would have to make sure we could use our magic without being in the position of being slaughtered by the brutes that Kenzel has in his army."

"How do you think we should do that?" Demeter questioned. "I mean, how are we going to get close enough to cause damage without being close enough for them to reach us with their weapons?"

"I hadn't thought that far ahead." Aliya admitted. "But I'll think about it."

Aliya let her pace slow so she could contemplate things. She racked her brain for anything her teacher had told her about magic and using magic as a weapon that could possibly help in this situation.

Ebba

Ebba paled. They were talking about magic. Ebba's hand drifted up to the stone looped around her neck. Eden glanced at her.

"Are you okay?"

"Fine," said Ebba quickly. "I'm fine."

Eden looked doubtful, but Ebba forced a smile on her face and turned away. It wasn't that Ebba hated magic... But Ebba's only way of using it was through her stone. And the stone had far too much power for Ebba to control.

Okay, guys! Judging from the results in the poll - We will open the storybook for some of Kenzel's followers! If you already have a character, feel free to create another - If you do not have a character, feel just as free to enter the storybook!

And, as always, direct any questions to the DT.

I wanted to post this a long time ago, but I forgot XP Sorry

Demeter-

I watched Ebba as she toyed with the pendant around her neck. I chuckled.

"Don't worry, Ebba," I called to her. She turned to me with a start. "I don't know how mine works either." I pointed to the black diamond hanging from the silken ribbon around my own neck.

Her face reddened the slightest bit. "Oh, I know how it works, I just..." she stopped suddenly, her gaze slowly shifting to the ground. "I...um...I..."

"Don't know how to use it?" I asked again with a smile. She looked at me nervously and I winked. She smiled and stifled a laugh.

Well, I think guns help. If you just stand there and yell BANG I don't think you're going to kill too many people...
