Hey poetry folks, Haiku Train (where you write a haiku using the last line of the last haiku as your first line) has been on such a roll this month! Any one up for a Haiku Train Challenge?

Perhaps we could see how long we can keep it going with at least 1 poem in it every day ~ Could we make it the whole month of February with at least one person posting a Haiku in the thread every day?

    Anyone up for the challenge?

    Spoiler

Tagging some of the regular participants + poetry people ~

oooo I've never done a Haiku train before! This should be fun. Though idk how to write a haiku XD

Haiku isn't too hard to get a hang of @Stellarjay and we'd love to have your poetic skills involved! :)

The most basic format is first line is 5 syllables, the second line is 7 syllables, and the final line is 5 syllables. Sometimes people try to include a thematic turn in the 3rd line, so the third line is kind of a "surprise" but that's not strictly necessary.

In the haiku train you use the last person's final line as the first line of your haiku. Hopefully that makes sense!
