    Your twenties:

    1. Begin to understand why your parents loved cheese so much.
    2. Spend an inordinate amount of money on cheese.
    3. Worry about how much of your monthly budget goes on cheese.
    4. Wonder how you'll ever explain your cheese expenditure to a banker when applying for a mortgage.
    5. Remember the banker is probably someone's parent and probably has that appreciation for cheese you never thought you'd have.

(Read: I just spent 4.49 on Gruyere.)

I legitimately buy a block of mozzarella at least once a week. #shame

Baked Camembert is a legit delight. But I can never finish one alone, which is a tragedy.

    StellaThomas replied · Sep 29, 2017

@Cadi come to mine. Omg is there any better delight than baked Camembert and a fresh baguette? Legitimately heaaaaaveeeeen.

    IT'S FRIDAY!!

I've decided to designate Friday evenings as me-days, and do absolutely nothing work related. I'm planning to take a bath-bomb soak, a hair mask treatment, and do some crayon-colouring and finishing up GoT. Just started S6 whoo! :)

    StellaThomas replied · Sep 8, 2017

    That sounds so wise!

I went for tapas with some friends, and then they were going on for a drink and I left.

"I'm a bit jealous of you," said one of the girls. "You always leave early JUST before the night deteriorates."

    Yeah. I'm just super antisocial.

Enjoy your bath <3 and your GoT <3 and all of it it sounds so good omg

Being a) very boring and b) on call tomorrow, I went for pizza with Boy and am now sitting at home, in anticipatory dread of what is to come.

    Lavvie replied · Aug 11, 2017

My Friday plans are hardly exciting. Tonight, I'm making gnocchi for dinner and I'll probably watch an episode or two of House of Cards before sleeping at 10:30. Maybe 11 because it's the weekend!!!

    Cadi replied · Aug 11, 2017

Unironic cheeky Nando's with The Guy, planning what colour to dye my hair tomorrow, a little writing and a little reading (Fangirl, by Rainbow Rowell <3)

    beckiw replied · Aug 11, 2017

I watched Moana, the athletics with the Grump and played with the cat some. Chill to the max.

    Meshugenah replied · Aug 11, 2017

I haz books, leftovers, and netflix (and a Giants/Nationals game that's currently in a rain delay, @Nate, because your team resides in the hellacious landscape known as "hot, humid, and water falls from the sky in summer" nonsense that is basically every part of the US but mine). Honestly, rain in summer. Weird.

    Sachiko replied · Aug 11, 2017

I made a pizza and watched Iron Fist. Now i'm bumbling about on youtube, but soon i'll study for a bit and then write some, I think.

    EscaSkye replied · Aug 12, 2017

Listening to podcasts while waiting for my friends for a game session 'til roughly midnight or so.

    BluesClues replied · Aug 12, 2017

My plans normally look like basically everyone else's, but we had free tickets to the Croswell. So we saw A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (which was hysterical), and then we headed out to catch what we could of the meteor shower.

Which actually peaks tonight (in case any of you are free and have no Saturday night plans), but I work early tomorrow. Unfortunately, the night was not as clear as the weatherman had led us to believe, but between the two of us we saw four shooting stars!

    Lumi replied · Aug 25, 2017

Cleaning and reading more into Glass Castle because who needs movie tickets when you have muscadine wine?

    Cadi replied · Aug 25, 2017

This week, Friday is: curled up on the sofa, listening to Genesis accidentally crying over fanfic. Might take a break from the feels to do some writing in a bit!

    Snoink replied · Aug 25, 2017

I don't know about you, but I am hoping to get a nap tonight. ^^

    StellaThomas replied · Aug 25, 2017

I was meant to go for dinner with two of my friends, but one of them ditched last minute, which is the type of immature rubbish I am no longer willing to deal with. So we went for cocktails instead! Much better than my last Friday night :)

  • Love replied · Aug 9, 2017

Ha! I've a Trello board instead. Tis huuugeee o__o

    Sachiko replied · Aug 9, 2017

I thrive on to do lists!! I have a master list for cleaning every week, and then a daily to do list, and then I use google reminders for random stuff during the day.

    Cadi replied · Aug 9, 2017

No, but I have a perpetual set of overdue tasks on Todoist :P

    beckiw replied · Aug 9, 2017

I cheat and put easy things on my work to do list like 'Email this person' just so I can tick something off...

    BluesClues replied · Aug 9, 2017

I just kind of do stuff and hope I'm not forgetting anything.

    StellaThomas replied · Aug 10, 2017

Yeah I'm so jealous of people who maintain lists I just pray.

  • BluesClues replied · Aug 9, 2017

What's funny is each bullet of the list applies to me.

maybe I'm older than I thought, and my age is a lie based upon fabrications which I've been told since I was born

  • StellaThomas replied · Aug 9, 2017

Boy only lets me go into shops now with the caveat, "you are allowed one unnecessary item, and it can't be a candle."

    BluesClues replied · Aug 9, 2017

*actually buys homeware, feels guilt because I shouldn't have spent that money*

    Lava replied · Aug 9, 2017

I AM IN THE PHASE OF BUY ALL THE HOME WARE I NEED IT

  • BluesClues replied · Aug 9, 2017

ME TOO. Thank you, thank you.

  • Sachiko replied · Aug 8, 2017

Thanks, I'm starving now. All of these look SO. GOOD.

    Meshugenah replied · Aug 8, 2017

I live to serve, Kimi. I live to serve.

    StellaThomas replied · Aug 9, 2017

Oh my gosh Mesh. These look unbelievable.

Damn I'm making avocado toast tomorrow.

    BluesClues replied · Aug 9, 2017

I had to giggle when I saw one of the "Millennials can't buy houses because they eat too much avocado toast!!!" articles, because a) avocado toast is DELICIOUS and b) when Sir and I went to First Watch for breakfast all the people eating avocado toast were middle-aged or older.

I am not old enough for this club, but I, too, am disappointed that others have not followed the same make-up styles as I have

    StellaThomas replied · Aug 9, 2017

    Hattable replied · Aug 9, 2017
