You're stupid. I hate you. The plot is shallow. The characters are unbelievable. The setting has no imagination whatsoever. But then again, you were my first novel I ever tried. So, congrats on that, I guess.

Please don't weep as you feel my absence in November and December - I'm simply dedicating myself to Fane, to Sage and to Mari, the siblings of August's and Lain's and all my other characters'. I will even put aside Sage's story for my birthday, and do my best to squeeze out every coin I have left and visit Vienna or Venice, so I could wrote about the magicians of their streets without feeling like a liar - and for you.

I think that you need to work on me more, think about me! Cecilia seems like a really shallow character so far, and so does Grey. You need to develop them a lot. And we need to hear more from Carnia, maybe go to her point of view on her wedding day and learn about the spirit items? Just putting it out there. I also want Kona's past, she seems like she would be a great background story. Also, we need more evil people, stop adding good ones. Conflict! I need conflict!
