If this is real, raw emotions from you, I can completely relate. You're not alone. I used to be that 'best friend' who loved ur love, and took him away from you. I've learned to lose my old self from my own and other people's suffering.
This is a nice piece. I like how it's emotional so many people can relate and learn from it. I read it twice, and got chills each time.
Love seems so fake and unreal at a young age, though I couldn't tell you for sure when it becomes real. You may feel completely in love now, but later you'll know for sure. (ahh stop repeating myself!)
I really like this though! Nice job!
This is so short, but it's so real.
That is all.
I'm very glad I read the comments first because right away I was like, "welp first of all it doesn't look right," haha. Next thought: This is nice, simple. Young love clearly is complicated, we're all stressed over it at one point or another
If your best friend likes a lot of people wait until she moves on and then ask her if it's ok if you pursue it. Sounds like it might not take too long.
I completely agree!
And nice username and avatar. I love it! <3
It's amazing how something so short can bring up so many memories. I think that this piece is very very good. You should continue writing from this piece and make it something bigger. Like a short story...I would totally read/review that
I'll think about it.
definitely it would not last... lusting after someone never does. eventually after you get to know the person beyond their good looks and charm they are as normal as can be or they, most times are the biggest jerks ever... eventually the novelty of him would fade. So pursue if you may and i wish you the best of luck. But just a bit of advice, in life you have choices to make and your choices have equal and opposite repercussions. You may choose to pursue and find out that he is the sweetest guy ever and your heart may not get broken, or it could be opposite he could turn out to be the biggest A-hole ever. However you could not pursue and end up regretting that you did not attempt to find out if it was worth it or not... Indeed my dear I definitely agree, "lust" is very difficult. but be careful in your choices and evaluate the situation before you make and drastic decision.
I'm sorry to anyone reading this. My spacing got messed up.
