Percy’s story-Ghost House

by vampricone6783

*This is an origin of a character from my “Ghost House” stories. This story is underneath my folder titled “Ghost House”. Gacha Club character designs are underneath my forum “My character designs <33”. Enjoy!*

Once, there was a man named Percy. Percy had a wife named Cynthia and a son named Thomas, both of whom claimed to see ghosts. His daughter, Bethany, didn't see anything, but just liked acting creepy, purely for her own amusement.

Was it weird that half of his family said they could "see the paranormal?" and how his one young daughter simply enjoyed the creepier side of things?

Yes, it was. Sometimes, Percy himself couldn’t believe that his own life was real at all, that he fell for a woman with a gift to see the paranormal.

But Cynthia and Thomas never harmed anyone.

As long as they were both happy, he wouldn't worry about them. Who cared about the absurdity of seeing ghosts? Reality itself was insane enough. Everyone had their own quirks, and it all depended on their intentions if they were to be trusted or not.

His family had love in their hearts, and that mattered more to Percy than whatever anybody else thought of them.

Hello Hello I hope you dont mind me popping in a quick review. I will apologize if this is a very brief one mostly because of my cold and this is a sweet piece. I think I reviewed a part of this story a long time ago but I am not caught up so I might miss some stuff.

Overall, I liked the concept and the dynamics. However, I do wish you had gone more in-depth with it all. Perhaps even giving the reader a glimpse into this family's daily life. You could show what happens with these spirits. Maybe the mother talks to them over coffee while the kids play. That might make the end hit a higher emotional note. You could flesh this out in many, many ways that's just my thoughts on it.

As always, keep writing and remember to drink water!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night(whichever one it is in your part of the world),

Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!

First Impression: Hmm now a somewhat rare shorter origin story here. These have been becoming quite detailed as of late so its almost nice to see something a little simpler and not mired in nearly as much sadness and betrayal.

Anyway let's get right to it,

Once, there was a man named Percy. Percy had a wife named Cynthia and a son named Thomas, both of whom claimed to see ghosts. His daughter, Bethany, didn't see anything, but just liked acting creepy, purely for her own amusement.

Was it weird that half of his family said they could "see the paranormal?" and how his one young daughter simply enjoyed the creepier side of things?

Yes, it was. Sometimes, Percy himself couldn’t believe that his own life was real at all, that he fell for a woman with a gift to see the paranormal.

Well that's definitely some start there, Percy looks like he has quite an interesting life there with his family who are definitely quite special it would seem even in a world like this.

Well looks like for the most part things have settled down fairly well for Percy there. Despite the supernatural nature of it all, it seems love is around and everyone is only just a little quirky and mysterious as opposed to there being genuine issues going down about evilness and wanting to be feared. A rare moment of wholesomeness in this.

Aaaaand that's it for this one.

Overall: Overall a lovely little tale I think in terms of the way we have Cynthia and Thomas are getting about to say nothing of course of Bethany who looks like the poor girl is trying to just fit in amongst this family. I think on the whole you create a pretty wholesome little unit there. Another fun tale to add to the list.

As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.

Stay Safe
Kate
