Marina-Midnight Witch

*This story is underneath my folder titled “Midnight Witch x Y/N”. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33”. Enjoy!*

Once in a popular movie theater, there was a pink singing robot named Marina. She was in the far corner of the theater, making the trip to find her a tad long, but otherwise worth it.

She was used to entertain children, most of them little girls, if their parents wanted to watch a movie without the kids.

But what people didn’t know was that she was programmed to have real feelings and thoughts, as though she were a living person. This was so the kid could feel connected with her.

And she had grown quite the love for a ten year old girl named Eva Leroux, so much so that she’d hate to see Eva cry...

Hello Hello I hope you dont mind me popping in with a quick review. I will apologize that I might be a bit rusty when it comes to reviewing but I hope I can at least brighten your day. I also haven't read the other parts of this story so I might get something wrong. However, I should stop rambling. Let's get into it, shall we?

Overall, I wasn't sure what I was getting into with this piece. Not in a bad way mind you, without the context of the other parts I was wondering if it would slip into horror. Even though nothing too scary happened on the page I was still on edge hoping nothing would go wrong. Luckily all kids in this piece seem safe and entertained so fair.

However, looking at that last line I don't know how long that will be true. I wonder how dark this will go as it feels like a mix between Morgan and fnaf. Other than that I think it's a very good yet sinister hook for what's to come.

Since this is a shorter piece I don't have much feedback. I only have one small very nitpicky thing I would change. As always You don't have to take any feedback you don't want it's your story.

She was in the far corner of the entire theater,

As I said this is very nitpicky but I feel entire is a bit redundant. This could be a personal thing but I would get rid of entire so that it reads like this.

She was in the far corner of the theater,

Regardless this was an interesting read and I hope you're doing well. As always keep writing, stay creative and remember to drink water!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night(whichever one it is in your part of the world),

Hi! I'm Kate and I'm here to leave a quick review!!

Anyway let's get right to: Kate's Line by Line Reactions;

Once in a popular movie theater, there was a pink singing robot named Marina. She was in the far corner of the entire theater, making the trip to find her a tad long, but otherwise worth it.

Oooh looks like this is the otherside of our duo from the story I read through earlier when things have a bit of a fiery end there. Pun very much intended. It was quite the sad moment and seeing from the side of Eva who cared so deeply for Marina enough to remain there through all of that horror was truly very heartbreaking and to see all of that go down there.

Now I think this is a beautiful follow up to read because while it remains just as tragic, seeing all the horror that did go down as a result of all of this moment. It shows that Marina did fully return that faithful loyaltly and friendship that Eva showed and that there was indeed a very genuine and dare I say it powerful friendship between the two. I think it makes Eva's transformation and all of that just feel so much more worth it. It feels like all that horror wasn't for just something imagined and I find that a beautiful thing.

And overall yeah that's my biggest takeaway on this, just seeing Marina's side of things and how she felt about it.

Aaand that's it for this oneee!!!

As always remember to: Take what you think was helpful and forget the rest!

Stay Safe and Have a Nice Day!
Kate
