Christmas kisses and wishes

*This story is underneath my folder titled “Kyla and Talia’s journey”. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33”. Enjoy and MERRY CREEPY CHRISTMAS!*

THE ANGEL

Aleron blushed as Lunria kissed him on the lips. They had been dating for a while, they met last Christmas at a hot chocolate cafe. But she still didn’t know of his true identity. His mother and father were angels, and he was, too. At the moment, both Aleron and Lunria’s mothers were at the Christmas festival. Meanwhile, their fathers were out getting the ingredients to make hot chocolate. Their families knew each other well.

But not too well, because he had to hide his wings, for he and his family lived with humans who would not understand.

Both of them were sitting in a clearing in the snow-capped woods, away from everyone else celebrating Christmas, only focusing on each other.

Aleron felt he would ascend high into the sky…fly high with Lunria…

“You have wings?!” Lunria asked, letting go of the kiss.

White, feathery wings flapped around him. Aleron blushed even more deeply than before.

It had appeared that Lunria brought out the wings in him.

“Angels are real. Me and my family are angels.” Aleron said.

“Your wings are beautiful.” Lunria said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“You’re not mad?” He asked, quite puzzled at her answer.

“Nope! Why would I be? That’s just who you are.” Lunria said.

She wrapped her arms around him, he did the same for her. His parents would be overjoyed that she accepted him, because truthfully, they wanted to be let in.

His wings made great protection for the both of them that were in the cold.

THE DEMON

Thalassa tore through the flesh of the deer, reveling in its sweet taste. She tried her best not to eat humans, just like Mom and Dad told her to.

But it couldn’t change the fact that she was still a monster, that she still-

“Thalassa?” A voice asked tentatively. A strangely familiar voice…

Thalassa looked up. The owner of the voice was none other than Dyrk, her boyfriend, the boy she met at the mall during her Christmas shopping.

“I…I…” Thalassa tried to speak, but couldn’t finish her sentence.

He saw her. He knew that she was a demon. Why would he ever love her? He had no reason to.

“Are you demon? I’ve read about them.” Dyrk said.

Thalassa nodded, as she could not move her mouth to speak.

To her surprise, Dyrk ran up to her, wrapped his arms around her, and then gave her a kiss on the cheek.

“I won’t tell my Mom and Dad. You’re good. You just need to eat. I love you.” Dyrk said.

Then, he nuzzled himself close to Thalassa, who wrapped him up in a grateful hug.

He still loved her, even after he saw what she was. He still loved her.

Her Christmas Eve was made extra sweet with Dyrk’s hug in the snow-scattered forest.

Okay so I am finally back to Aleron and Lunria's stories!

[quote They had been dating for a while, they met last Christmas at a hot chocolate cafe. [/quote]

Is a hot chocolate cafe a cafe ONLY serves hot chocolate and no coffee or tea? Because why isn't there one in my town XD. I agree with Elektra's review, however, that the first paragraph is a bit of an information dump. I also think you only need to specify a hot chocolate cafe if it's relevant, and maybe naming the cafe instead would be more useful and add to the world building of the story.

The whole first section is very cute, I'm so glad that Lunria accepted him!

I also love that the second part is a parallel; we have the acceptance of an angel and as a demon. I kind of expected there to be some action or some trouble in the story, but i understand it's a very short piece.

<3 Keep writing!

I thought this little detail was so cute and right in the Christmas Spirit! Since the setting/time frame is around the holidays, it would make sense that Lunria would love Aleron just the way he is-- angel wings and all! :P

Then, he nuzzled himself close to Thalassa, who wrapped him up in a grateful hug.

He still loved her, even after he saw what she was. He still loved her.

Her Christmas Eve was made extra sweet with Dyrk’s hug in the snow-scattered forest.

I love Thalassa's story from the demon perspective as well! It gave a ying-yang sort of effect and I was really able to tell the differences in reactions from their significant others. I also found it quite sad that Thalassa was repeating 'He still loved her' in her head, because everyone is deserving of love, especially around the holidays! <3

🌟 Chilling Critique 🌟
They had been dating for a while, they met last Christmas at a hot chocolate cafe. But she still didn’t know of his true identity. His mother and father were angels, and he was, too. At the moment, both Aleron and Lunria’s mothers were at the Christmas festival. Meanwhile, their fathers were out getting the ingredients to make hot chocolate. Their families knew each other well.

I feel like this first paragraph was a bit of an info-dump. I suggest that if you revise this to add these details about Aleron and Lunria's parents, how they met, and their species naturally into the story. For example, maybe those details are revealed later on in dialogue or a flashback? :D Other than this, I don't have any critiques!

🎆 The Grand Finale 🎆
Overall, this was a festive and heartwarming read! I was really hoping for some happy endings, so I was pleasantly delighted at the end. Thank you for sharing!

Wishing you a season filled with joy, laughter, and love! <3
