I am the one nobody comes for
Nobody comes for me
He comes to the door
Knocks on it twice
Nobody’s here, I see.
Nobody sits at my window
Nobody waits at the stairs.
When he trots up to the house
Everyone stops and stares.
Nobody is my friend
Nobody sees me through.
But I see through nobody,
And all nobody sees is you.
And some day, way out there
When my eyes and hair grow dull
When my skin grows long, and my bones grow short
Nobody won’t be here at all
Then somebody arrives
He comes to the door
Knocks on it twice
Somebody’s here, I see
Somebody brings his friends
Now everyone’s here for me
Because this time I am the one
I now am the one somebody comes for
Now somebody comes for me
But somebody is not anybody
When nobody is who I want to see.

That was a great poem and I very much enjoyed it. I especially liked it because I feel it is one of those poems that everyone can relate to at some point in their life. I really liked how much meaning was in this poem, when reading it I could feel the emotion behind the piece. I thought it was a very thought provoking poem that has the power to stand out from other poems. I really thought it was a great poem. Well done.
thank you so much! I really appreciate the support
MMMMhhm. Very very good! I liked it very much. A tab bit confusing at times. Well done!(: lovely piece of work
thank you!!
Hello svwiener!
First off, i have to say, the title peaked my curiosity, so good job on that.
I love the way you wrote this, and how it has two different sides. It's very unique and I thought it was very well put together. It flowed really well, and it's length wasn't too long or too short to make the reader turn away. It definately creates the feel of lonliness, and that was greatly portrayed.
Grammar: I don't see anything that jumps out at me, you did this very well.
"But somebody is not anybody
When nobody is who I want to see"
I loved the ending SO much! It just made an amazing close to an amazing poem!
Great job on this! I can't wait to see more!
Wow thank you so much!! This means a lot
I really enjoyed reading this!
Thank you!
Hello Hsarver here to review your wonderful poem. I thought it was absolutely brilliant the way you made it have two sides. It is like I got to read poems inside of one, it was really well thought out, and I am really impressed. It is hard to make that sound good and make sense, but you pulled it off. The topic of the poem was also great, it is easily understood by many people, and it was cool to see the other side of things at the end. As far as grammar goes, I am not much of a grammar perfectionist so I can't be of much help there. Though as far as I can tell it appears the grammar is all correct. Great job and keep writing!
thank you so much!!
Oh, this makes me think of a poem by Shel Silverstein! =D

I will be back to review this properly. I will need a reminder, though.
Oh my god!! I have never read that poem before, I promise! Great minds think alike I guess. That guy is a genius so I'd be honored if we had similar minds.
Haha!
Oh, and p.s. I didn't mean to sound like I was suggesting you had copied him. You definitely have your own poem here!
Haha don't worry about it!! I'm glad you told me!
