When the days drag on
And the birds won't sing
When it's dark all the time
And you're caught in the wind
There's a place you can go
Far away from it all
Just close your eyes
And let yourself fall
You will land in a place
Where the sun shines bright
Where the grass is always green
And the clouds fluffy and white
Where children sing
And teenagers smile
Where the most dangerous thing
Is a marshmallow pile
Where the rainbows are full
And the flowers smell nice
Where Christmas comes early
It's all sugar and spice
If you're crying at night
And your work is your play
Let yourself go
Let it take you away

I like it.
It reminds me of a song I have written.
I think this poem is darker than what it seems on the surface. Did you think about what "let yourself fall" and "let it take you away" means?
I don't know if you purposefully did this but it seems like you are suggesting either killing yourself or making up a pretend world... It kinda reminds me of Katherine from Desperate Housewives. You know how she's all lonely so she pretends she's with Mike.
But most likely you just meant sometimes it's ok to imagine everything's good.
Love your sister!
PS I likethe Christmas line.
its a great poem. it has a good flow.
1.i loved the way you started with pessimism but ended with optimism.
keep writing
Good poem! Good flow too. This is really nice. I'd like to go there myself just to see what it's like. I don't know if it's more like Neverland or Heaven (not that I'm super religious or anything) that's just what it seems like.

Good hopeful poem. Keep writing the good stuff!
smashles, i hate you!
