The Description of a King

His eyes are like the darkest of nights;

his hair more bronze than gold.

If animals be stupid, then he is damned with the forbidden knowledge of man,

a sage among all beasts.

And should he be compared to a summer's day,

his love would carry more warmth

For gales from near or far cannot chill his heart.

And should he be compared to another creature,

he is stronger than an ox

and bears more wisdom than an owl.

Never have I seen a creation of the gods

that compares to the nobles themselves

until he was delivered to me a few summers back,

King, a god in his own special way.

This poem is adorable. For you to think so highly of your dog and make a well-written poem about him is what gives this a unique quality. I want to meet your dog! I love everything about this poem, and my favorite lines are

"If animals be stupid, then he is damned with the forbidden knowledge of man,

a sage among all beasts.

And should he be compared to a summer's day,

his love would carry more warmth"

Wow. These are just wonderful descriptions. Since I don't know too much about poetry, I'm going to end this review by applauding you. Be sure to give your dog many hugs and kisses!

Hi, santana itsMooCowPoop
Theres not much for me to review here. Wow, such appreciation for your dog makes me happy. How sweet of a poem. It would be nice if you could read this to your dog, I am sure he would like it if he understood it.

I do not much to worry about in this poem. Everything's on point. I love the first line all the way down to the last line. I loved how descriptive this poem was. This was very nice.
