Growing Old

They say that adulthood is not an age

But a stage of knowledge of yourself

What if you don't know who you are

Are you growing old?

What if you are a broken mirror

Held together with only glue

You are lost

Trapped in a haze

Are you growing old?

What if life holds sadness

Where there should be merriment

Sorrow streaks the colors of life

Like rain drizzling down a stained glass window

Are you growing old?

What if you don't know all the answers

Or the meaning of life

And everyone else is growing old

But you are still young

Hey Corrupted Arrow here with a review!
(The Comma Police is here! Anything I say here is just constructive criticism. If I offend you I apologize in advance.(I will try to be humorous.)

Wow! Now to fuss over tonight if I'm really going to become an adult... Anyways you have done really good.

From what I can see you don't have any more grammar and/or comma mistakes. Keep up the writing, have a good day.

This poem is amazing. I have never read something that is so relatable about an adolescent growing up into adulthood. I love how you kept asking the question "Are you growing old?" It kept me wondering if maybe I am really getting older, or maybe I'm not but others around me are so should I start? Your perception of "growing old" is very honest and relatable. I truly loved reading this. The only thing I would recommend is maybe putting the question "Are you growing old?" in italics. I loved your use of figurative language also! My favorite part no doubt is, Sorrow streaks the colors of life Like rain drizzling down a stained glass window" That was just like WOWWWWWW! I aspire to write poems like you! Keep up the amazing work!
