Hello Hello, I hope you three dont mind me popping in with a quick review. I will apologize that this might be a tad short but I still wanted to give my thoughts. Plus who wouldn't want their work free from the clutches of the greenroom? With that being said let's get into it shall we?
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this poem. I honestly wish I had seen this when it was first posted it would have peak Halloween vibes. Everything feels melancholic yet yet warm if that makes sense. There is a comfort throughout the longing and I feel that pairing comes out super clear.
I must say I love how you represent what could have been here. Maybe I am just an overly macabre person but I love dark imagery. So the Idea of being married to the ghost of someone or better yet what that someone used to be speaks deeply to me in a way I cant fully explain. Normally I would go in depth about meanings but I cant help but focus on how this made me feel.
The whole thing feels so stunningly dark yet rich. Even though it was sparing I could see a fresh grave or dank burial chamber littered with candles. If I might add this gives me Juliet vibes in a way mostly the part when she faked her death in the play. I would read for sure more poetry or even a novel with this tone. Your voices meld together so well!
Now Normally I would hop into feedback but I couldn't find any. Although a written version that is perhaps colour-coded would be nice. It would be cool to see who wrote what.

This was good. Ngl it takes a second to fully comprehend this work lol. I love the last paragraph, especially the part where it talks about how "i am married to a memory of what is gone now, with the summer sun." This is so real and visceral, and it paints a beautiful image in my mind, like someone trying to hold the wind. Overall I enjoyed this poem, and honestly I'm not qualified enough in poetry to critique anything so I'll leave it there. Thanks for posting this chrysanthemumcentury!
