Tell of a race long ago
Standing tall among the trees
Emblems of stone
Never decayed, never wearied
Forged into eternity
Creatures with undaunted grace
Sharp ears and angular features
Symbols of an alien beauty
Impossible to conceive in mortal view
Eyes stranger still
Catlike and deep
Mystery abounding
Curiosity, never satisfied, aroused
Eyes that beheld
The beginning of time
And the final destruction
Wisdom uncomprehended by the mortal mind
Given only when mercy doth bless it
On a noble traveler, seeker of truth
Their haunting song turns sad now
To faint to hold the power
It once commanded
Speaking of the forgotten legend
Stories so old, they have faded into time
Creatures that fade as the book is closed
The pen dropped
The memory lost

hi! I'm here to review!
I personally don't like poems without any punctuation. That's just me.
I like this part.
D: This part made me sad. I mean, you were so beautiful and then. You used normal words to explain these things.
In my opinion, punctuation add drama to the poem. It makes it imprint itself more in my mind. Does that make sense? It does to me.
Still, very good poem. I loved it

I really liked this poem. I didn't think it had much flow but it was kind of mysterious, very mythological. I liked that, it somehow suited the poem. I can't find anything wrong with it that wasn't mentioned in the previous comment. So I guess I can only say great job! I really liked it, especially the ending because it summed up the whole poem really well. I loved the last two lines... Those were good, and it was nice that they were different, shorter to the rest. My favorite verse had to be the last one. Definitely.
And not only did your poem have a good ending, but a very good opening too. It drew me to read the rest of them poem.
I liked it,

I really liked this, especially the ending. It felt almost like a tribal song or something like that to me; the flow was quite good. Then the end, like I said... it just tied it together so well. I have one nitpick: I think "to faint to hold the power" towards the end of the poem should be "too faint to held the power." That's it! I know this isn't very helpful... let me go through again and see if I can find anything to critique.
Okay, I'm back. You really have no grammar errors at all, and honestly, I can't even pick a favorite stanza. They all had really good parts. I like how you made the poem clear, but also mysterious, uninterpreted. Great job!
