I’m a paradox.
I want to be happy, but I think of things that make me sad.
I’m lazy, yet I’m ambitious.
I don’t like myself, but I also love who I am.
I say I don’t care, but I really do.
I crave attention, but reject it when it comes my way.
I’m a conflicted contradiction.
If I can’t figure myself out, there’s no way anyone else can.

Hello there! Unknown391625 here with another review!
So first off, I really like this poem. It's very short, simple, and neat. I like your formatting. I don't have any problems or nitpicks with the story. There is one thing I found though. In the last line, you used a comma to, I would say "separate" those two parts. I would have maybe used a semi-colon or the word "and" to connect the two parts. It sounds a little better to me if it were that way. Whatever floats your boat though. Anyways, this small poem tells a huge story about a paradox, a contradiction, an oxymoron. It's just one thing that contradicts itself every time. I think it's amazing and very clever! It's doesn't rhyme, but it's still great without the rhyming. Great job! I would like to see more of your poems! Never give up and always write, WrittenGirl46!

First off, Welcome to YWS!!!!!
Your works have great promise and you are establishing yourself as a prolific writer from the start!
Great work on this one! First off, I love how you compare and contrast yourself (Or maybe it
isn't yourself and you're just writing from a certain character's point of view) The way that you started it out as "I am a paradox" gave it a fresh and simple feel that launched perfectly into the poem. It flows perfectly and it doesn't sound like you were forcing it/trying to hard.
The last line for me packed the biggest punch: "If I can’t figure myself out, there’s no way anyone else can."
Loved it and hope you keep writing! (This one deserves a "Like")

Heyy!!
First of all...*clicks like button*....*then clicks follow button*
Okay, so, this is a short and sweet and to the point type of poem. I like that. But, sadly, there is not much to review.
But, what I can say is this. I love your voice and word choice. This sounds so much like me! I think you explained me down to the point!
I love your wording. You could not have done better!! [In my opinion...]
Anyway, I love how you, in the first part of the line, put something that may be true at times, then, on the other side of the line, put something completely opposite but true, as well! Great job!
I also love how this makes you want to read more and how much this makes sense and just....flows!! Good job!! These are very important factors to know how to and be able to incorporate in good writing!!
Keep writing!!,
~Tiff
Thank you so much, I appreciate it deeply , thank you for your encouraging words, and thank you for liking it, and I'm trying to focus on writing things that many people can relate to and at the same time, things that I can relate to, I put my heart and soul into the things I write even if it's just short and sweet like this ~The Written Girl
This is awesome! I'm usually not a big poetry fan, but this really seems to say what you're feeling. One suggestion, and I totally get if you don't want to change it, maybe change the last word to can. Just my random, and probably meaningless, thought. For what it's worth, I really liked it, sounds a lot like me, actually
Thank you, and ok I take any suggestions
