Timeless

In Music/Poetry

I still think of him.

Every day.

They'll tell you that the pain will fade with time.

That it’ll all go away, with time.

Time heals all wounds.

That's the old adage-

right?

They'll tell you that you'll fall in love

again.

I never want to fall in love again.

But that should change with time-

right?

It’s all a lie.

Me? I think my time has run out.

Yours could, too.

That’s what happens-

right?

Time is a lie.

Something we created.

An illusion.

Like happy endings are-

right?

I’ll still think about him.

Forever.

Hey Aura, I'm here for a quick review.

I liked the formatting you used but you kind of stopped it at the end and used something else and that's just a little inconsistent? Like letting two foods on your plate touch. You could've used deeper imagery and made it better, even though the examples you give are good as it is. I'm just saying that because imagery is kind of really important and poetry and you'd master this poem if you put some more of it in, more detail. That's just my thoughts on that.

I don't really like the message even though I know it's close to heart or the way you output it because it's done a bunch of times before and I know this is worse than heartbreak but you could've used some other details from your life to liven it up a bit more.

Have a great day!

I sure hope you know you slayed this, right?

Heartbreak is always an easy topic to write about but focusing on particular parts of heartbreak is very hard, yet you wrote about the one element we never have time for: time.

It is true that the one thing we lack is time and it only sucks more when we are being told that it will take time for the heartbreak to be bearable.

I do not see anything wrong in your poem. I recommend you keep up all the great work! I also ope to read some of your future stuff!

Could be just a bit more visceral but I'm sure it's more so for you than it is for me.

Hi Twizz here!

Man you can feel that! The way you wrote it and set it up fits perfectly with the feeling of the poem. This is extremely relatable and I've known many who have gone through this exactly, but they didn't know how to express it.

If there is something wrong here I don't see it. You did a splendid job, I will be following you to see what will come next, this poem piqued my interest.

Time is a very hard subject, but a meaningful one, love is concidered timeless but no one explains what happens when that love ends suddenly. This poem summed it up, at least summed up a part of the journey.

I think this is such a relatable poem especially to me at the moment. I loved the style, it was quirky and interesting and it flows really well. I'm not the biggest poetry fan but I enjoyed this. Keep up the good work!
