Ten 6-word short stories

PreviousNext

A/N None of these are supposed to be related in any way, they're just some 6-word short stories I wrote.

~~~~~~
"Who are you?"
"Nobody."
They fade.
~~~~~~

The eagle soars

Broken wing healed

~~~~~~
Holding you close
Stars dance above
~~~~~~

Stars are dull

Compared to you

~~~~~~
No
The only answer you gave
~~~~~~

Words are powerful

You abuse them

~~~~~~~
Stem trampled
The rose slowly dies
~~~~~~

Small notebook

One note

Help me

~~~~~~
Poems fly
My mind releasing emotions
~~~~~~

Waffles?

Pancakes?

Neither.

Only fruit crepes.

Hey TheBlueCat,

Shady here with a review to both rescue your work from the Green Room and participate in review day ;)

I really like these. Typically I'm not into the six word stories or the saddest stories you can write in three words or any of that type of thing. But I did like your stories. They were powerful, even though they were written with only six short words. That takes talent. It is difficult to be concise when you're writing, and when you limit yourself to six words that becomes even more challenging, but you did very well with it.

I also like how you had such different tones in each of your stories. From hopeful with the eagle, to sappy with the star one, to chilling with the words one, to sad with the rose, and just plain silly with the pancakes. I think it made me like each one that much more, since they weren't unified by a single theme. I'm not sure why. Possibly because it feels like you actually put the effort into creating each story in its own right, and you're clearly not trying to piggyback from one to the next.

I think that's about all I have to say about it, though. You did an excellent job with this piece and I highly enjoyed it. Great job!

Keep writing!

Thank you! :D I'm glad they were enjoyable!

Hey there. Kanome with a review in honor of Review Day (Also, to get this out of the Green Room for ya c: )
I understand that this was part of the YWS Olympics, right?
Well, all them really hit me in the feels, even though these are six-word stories.
A lot of emotions can happen in someone no matter how many words are written in the story, and you achieved that so great job c:
I can't really critique on much because these are six-word stories xD
But congrats on the entry in the Olympics.
Keep writing and have a wonderful day!

- Kanome

Thank you :D The first one was for the Olympics, and the other ones were just me messing around and writing more!

Hi! Danni here for a review! Let's get this out of the Green Room.
I really enjoyed these. Guessing they were for the Olympics?
I like the way some are spooky, some are funny, and some are uplifting. This was a really good piece of work and I enjoyed it.
Keep up the good work!
