Sweet Nectar Haven

I shut the door of the greenhouse, cautiously checking behind where I stood and slowly began to pace my feet further into the glass structure. Contrasting with my very actions, I told myself that it was okay; everything was. Not a soul should appear, even while the sun floated high in the sky, beaming oh so heavily into the transparency of the invisible walls. Consoling the wariness of my mind, I came down to a calm and peered around at the simple beauty of the surroundings. Finger marks of soiled hands danced along the surfaces of glass which boxed me away from the outside and into the nectar sweet haven of pleasure. I look to the ground and immediately recognize the muddy prints of my feet that had left behind from previous visitation.

With every occurrence of entering the structure, it was the first. Eager and interested, my eyes tended to cling on to each detail that had been overlooked before. Only a scarce amount of greenery stood on top of a small table, abandoned by the prior owner of the so-called greenhouse and left to wilt from neglect. A sense of altruism filled me up, for the plants are pleased to have company, I’m sure.

I hate television. I hate it as much as peanuts. But I can't stop eating peanuts.
