An Ode to TigerspriteTaiga, Taiga, burning bright
in the forests of the night.
The line above is not copyrighted,
merely borrowed for my delight.
Now this poem is a work of art because it rhymes.
Now it doesn't. That's life.
Taiga is a God, a woman of many skills.
She won Skins's contest with her gypsy powers.
She went at it like a raccoon high on acid and sugar that was trying to scamper out of a trailer, while becoming rabid as froth grew from its slobbery mouth, scaring every human being in the process.
Her short story was magnificent and it brought Skins to tears.
Or was that the onions she was slicing at the time?
As the gypsies dance and the trees whisper,
Taiga realises that she has gone insane.
Trees don't talk to you (unless you're John Smith from Pocahontas)
and gypsies don't-- oh, they do dance.
My mistake.
Nonetheless, Taiga is strong and beautiful.
She may be a gypsy and she may talk to trees,
but so long as her writing excels with brilliance,
she will forever be worshipped.
When the day she becomes rabid arrives,
Skins will not fret, nor will she cry.
Skins will just be happy that Taiga's joined her.
And now, Taiga bids us farewell
as we anticipate the next piece of art she produces.
(This poem in chat speak)

I rarely find comedies on the site that are actually funny. Most are awful fan fic crap or sad attempts at random humor. This made me laugh. That doesn't happen often here so you need to know how big a deal this is. A BIG DEAL. That big.
Most pieces that break away from rhyme scheme mess the readers mindflow up or end up being too scatterbrained in focus to be worth a read, but you do it in a way that fits perfectly with the style. I don't known who tiger is but the piece itself stands on its own and that's what, for me, makes it so fun. There are tons of pieces on here talking about yws or reviewers or friends and they all just suck so hard, or go over the reader's head if they don't know or care about the person who the piece focuses on.
Made me want to meet tiger, made me laugh, and made me interested in reading more of your work.
so yeah, job well done.
Skins, I love you.
That is all.
I literally can not review this seriously but it is a truly magnifiscent peice. You should turn it into a short story.

It's really good i like the mood and rhythm in it.
Hi there.
I really like this. Your ability to translate chat speak to actual poetry is really good. It's really uplifting and witty and quite charming. I love your line
"Taiga is a God, a woman of many skills.
She won Skins's contest with her gypsy powers."
Just draws you right in.
Your second stanza is you stronger, much more of than your first and third.
In conclusion, really well done.
hehehe I liked this!
Kinda made my day and it reminds me of something that I can't put my finger on. o.O Oh well!
You are such a mad genius Skins. Did you know that? Mad. Genius. My guess is you might want to know my favorite line? Too bad if you don't cause I'm given it to ya'.
You fufilled both my childhood Pocahontas obsession and my love of gypsies. Chat Speak? I didn't even know I could read that after so much time on here. Actually, I didn't understand half of the bottom part. That's ok though. Your still a mad genius. N' stuff.

Skins.
My goodness. This is absolutely hysterically, amazing. I'm even mangling adjective usage because of this poem. No one has attempted to give this a proper review and at first I was going to try, but after a little more thought, I've decided against it. Instead, I'll leave it at this:
The chat speak translation was absolutely profound. Changed.My.Life.

haha so funny! great job lol. Me next?
I honestly didn't read your entire piece, because I lost a bit of interest after the rhyming scheme ended, but I loved the first stanza. It made me giggle :3
LOL. I love that.
Who knows you can write a poem?
It isn't a copyright infringement because the original was 'Tyger, tyger, burning bright..."
So full of awesomeness-sweetness-pwness-coolness, Skins!
Wow, this was classic. *applause* I can't take this seriously enough for a real, honest review...but classic. My favorite lines -

Yep, definitely not copyrighted. This is originality that can only be found by a YWSer. XD
And thanks for the chat-text translation; now even my sister can read it.
PEACE.
