Hi Renn!

Roeckercody Here for a Review on Review Day representing the Water Tribe!
I freaking love your writing, and I am just amazed at all you have accomplished. Just saying. You are a fantastic writer and person.
Reading this for like the fourth time now (I believe)
I love the perspectives and how they switch, it is a great aspect and way to tell your story.
I immediately loved Ulfr, I have told you this before but I still think it is necessary you know how much I love him. So immensely much. It is unexplainable he just is so likable.
I love that Brandr's mom is unwilling to let him go at first because it tells a lot about her and Brandr in general and how important he is, and it immediately makes sense why she does not want him to leave.
The Beserker is something I have actually heard about before reading your story and I really enjoy what you have done with it. You have such a great way of taking well-known norse mythology and vikings and such, and writing it under a new light. It's quite glorious.
One of my favorite things about your writing is your descriptions. Everything you write is very wellwritten and it always makes me want to read more. I visualize everything, literally everything. Except for the people. I only know what they look like because I have seen your drawings, I would not have imagined them that way.
Anyways, Soon enough, I will catch up on your story. I believe I am on Chapter 7 or so. You have such a high quality of writing that is unseen today.
I admire the work you have put into this piece because it shines through strongly.
I like that you show us the beserk in action before you go into the backstory and explain it, because lots of authors will do the opposite-- I am completely guilt of this--
I love the inner conflict you create with Brandr, and Sigrid alike. Sigrid is such a strong female character who I personally cannot wait to see more of. There are a lot of intriguing characters in your writing and they all seem like they have a purpose to play in the story, which is very difficult to do. Quite often people will add characters that are very one-dimensional and it will takeaway from the actual storyline.
I really enjoyed this first chapter, and I cannot wait for everyone else to get the chance to read it, when you publish it, on here or wherever else.
- Cody
P.S You're awesome!
G'awww. Thanks! I'll email you more if you want to get a head start on them, but just keep me posted as to what you want. Really glad you like it still.
Once again, hi! Renn
It was over a year since the prologue. But it was as beautifully written as it was. Hence, the descriptive characterization and mood. I still get the same feeling like I was watching a movie. So vivid that I can almost see what's happening.
Just a few things that I noted:
^I think, you have overlooked this one. To change the period to a comma for the separation of the dialogue & tag line.
^A quotable quote, I must say. Hence, the proceeding statements got me to think that you're a nature enthusiast. Allowing us to imagine the surroundings and the place in general. It's like we're one of the invisible characters taking in everything we see
^Instead of a hyphen, you could use a period. Since it was an independent clause, it could stand on it's own. Thus, the description of the sea could be in another sentence.
^You had overlooked this one, as well.
^My personal favorite line in the story. Apart from not being sexist, in general, it helps someone to really prove themselves. 'Cause sometimes all we need is a chance.
^Hence, is it necessary to put 'Mother & Father' in the uppercase? It felt like proper nouns, but disregard if it's part of your stylistic writing.
^In the tag line, 'He' must be in the lowercase.
^Could be 'Tell me everything that happened.'
Aside from those, *clap, clap, clap* it was a beautiful chapter. Though, I'm really intrigued by the 'cold' state. When the logical & rational thinking leaves and animalistic thinking surfaces. But it, also, increases the level of interest for the next chapters. Thus, a lot to look foward to.
Hope to read more from you

Yeah, I have it typed up (up to chapter 16) but I just hadn't added it to YWS. Thank you so much! I hope to keep you interested!
Whoa, that's a lot of chapters already
and hoping to read them.
Sorry for the weird hyphen breaks! I keep trying to add space for the character change, but it won't let me. So awkward hyphens it is!
