"True Love"
I said,
"Forever Baby"
she replied,
with her fingers crossed behind her back.

Hello
My initial response after reading the poem was confusion, I thought it was a very short poem
I do believe in quality over quantity but there needs to be a balance and this poem doesn't really contain enough depth so that I'll be affected, even in the tiniest bit, by it. If you expanded more on either your side or her side of the story I feel as if it would be much more interesting to read and there would be a better flow to it, it all seemed a bit rushed.
However, I want to thank you for sharing this piece.
Hey, Cheetah here to review your poem!
Before we get started with the review, I wanted to get this out of the way:
Just a small typo.
Now for the review!
All in all, I feel like you could elaborate more. This is a quick and easy read that captures my attention, but it has the potential to be deeper. Adding a few more stanzas and narrowing in on the situation would help add depth.
For example, what's going on? Have they been together before or did they just meet? Did he trust her or was there always tension? Did she trust him? It's good to leave a little mystery but enough explanation so the readers know what's going on.
The title is intriguing. Perhaps you could bring it into the poem and explain its meaning?
Good job and keep writing!
The point is for it to be vague.
Well this is depressing, emotional, and sadly very realistic. A very well done poem.
It captures a lot, I think, about humans and emotions. How there are differences between all of us that make us do and say things.
My only criticisms would be "he" in the last stanza, I'm guessing should be "her". And I don't really understand the title, but there is probably some story/meaning behind it.
First poem I've reviewed on here so, sorry if it's a bad review. I really like this poem, it says a lot more than it lets on at first glance. Well done!
