A Plentiful of Regrets

PreviousNext

You have memories to look back on today,                                                                                     I take you to less than a decade back,                                                                                          The time of your life, of joyous summer,                                                                                        And to the mellow cold of winters,                                                                                                Used to bring you to the edge of calm,                                                                                          And as high as heaven, until dawn,                                                                                              But now, not more than a plentiful of regrets,

That time never passed, not did it heal,
Scars still exist, and remind you of the pain,
Of wounds that once festooned your existence,
And have now dissolved you in to nothingness,
It's all black and white now, somewhere grey too,
Sometimes you remember, and some you live,
But now, not more than a plentiful of regrets,

You have memories to look back on today,
I bring you back to the present day,
You remembered what you forgot-or you thought so,
Of love that didn't die, of love that didn't age,
Moments you never miss, and life you lived is,
Forever you forget, forever you remain,
But now, not more than a plentiful of regrets,
