Boom. Crash. Bang. Pow!

I couldn't see much through the hazy smoke. I tried to process what just happened. The right tire split, sending the minivan flying- Oh, God. There they are.

I could barely make through the burning engine smoke one set of legs. A child's legs. And... that was all. The rest was concealed under another car. Crushed by another car.

Though I was in my own, safe seat, two cars behind the accident, I had never fallen longer or faster in my life. Spiraling, sprawling, into an oblivion as it seemed.

Something caught my arm as I fell. The shining face of the Lord before mine. Or, at least... I felt he was there. I didn't see him. But I felt him.

I prayed. Of course I prayed. For an hour at least. I prayed for my sister, aunt, and mother who had all witnessed the accident as well. I prayed for the family of the injured and the survivors- at least I hoped there were survivors. And I prayed for myself, to forget that... scarring mental image.

I went to school the next day. But I wasn't really there. I was in the arms of the Lord, being nurtured through this tragedy.

Never once did He say I was overacting, though I knew I was. He never told me I was being silly; that all I saw was some jeans with a lump under them. No; He told me that all would be alright. He said that I was with Him. I was safe. And that He was taking care of this, fixing it all.

Turns out, three died. Two children; one adult. And the five others in the car? Injured, but alive. Because they were wearing their seat belts.

And, as I write this, relaying the horrific events, I am crying. On the inside, very much so- not on the outside, since I already cried all my tears out earlier today. And I am being watched by the Lord.

I am being cared for by my own angel- a very, very, amazing, special angel. Her name is Blossom, Blossom Marie. She doesn't judge. She doesn't mock me. She doesn't make fun of me. She doesn't even understand why I'm upset. But she's always there for me. She's always biting me in a kind, reassuring way. She's my dog, and she's my Guardian Angel. My God-sent, Guardian Angel to take care of me while God is fixing the problems.

I am sure God will fix everything. I have no doubt He will fix me.

I have faith in the Lord.

Hello there. :) I didn't expect that mine would be the first review lol. I added this on my reading list like two days ago. xD

Nitpicks:

Boom. Crash. Bang. Pow!

- That's a pretty much catchy opening. :)

(...) the burning engine smoke one set of legs.

- I don't get this. >.<

Spiraling, sprawling, into an oblivion as it seemed.

- This seems a little incomplete.

I went to school the next day. But I wasn't really there. I was in the arms of the Lord, being nurtured through this tragedy.

- I love the way you wrote this. :)

Because they were wearing their seat belts.

- o.o This was an interesting thing to read.
- Anyway, I like the emphasis on the 'they'.

I am being cared for by my own angel- a very, very, amazing, special angel. Her name is Blossom, Blossom Marie.

- o.O This seems a little out of nowhere. It felt a little too late for it to arrive in the story. Maybe, it's just me.

My God-sent, Guardian Angel (...)

- I don't think the comma after 'God-sent' is necessary.

- - - - - - -

First of all, I don't understand why there is a period after the title. xD Anyway, this is a really nice story. :) And I don't get to read much with the same theme here on YWS so it feels good for me to read something different. I like the persona. I can easily tell that he has a strong faith in God and that he is a good person, praying for others like that. I like how positive or uplifted his 'voice' sounds too. :smt023 And I can feel the emotion in it so well. Your punctuation is nice by the way. I don't think you actually have problems with it. :)

Never stop writing! :D
