Mera Apna Ghar,
Jaha aa kr mujhe smjh aaya "ghar" shabd ka asli mtlb.
Jaha hai sukoon, shanti, apnapan or haq.
Jaha ke har kone ko mene apne hisab se sajaya hai,
Or iske har kone ne bhi mujhe bdi pyar se apnaya hai.
Jiske har hisse me mera ek kissa hai,
Or kisi din koi yaha tak aa gya to samajhna vo bhi is kisse ka hissa hai.
Jaha ki deeware mujhe cheekh cheekh kar ye nhi keh rhi ki tumhara wajood aaj bhi kisi ki badolat h,
Ki tum dabi huyi ho kisi ke aisano tale.
Balki yaha mujhe sunayi deti h subah chidiyo ki chahchahahat, har sham pawan ka shor or raat ko kahi dur se aa rhi gadiyon ki awaz,
Or mehsoos krti hu me kritagya is shanti ke liye.
Mere ghar ki ye Deeware....
Ye nahi sunti har dusre din meri siskiya,
na hi sunti h mere un pr maare gye mukko ki goonj.
Ye sunti h meri khilkhilahat,
Mere gungunane ki awaz,
Or dekhti h mujhe haste, khelte, naachte jese koi na dekh rha ho.
Kyuki sachme....koi nhi dekh rha,
Kyuki sachme.... ab kisi aalochana ka dar nhi hai,
Kyuki, yaha "itna khush kyu ho" puchne wala koi nhi hai,
Kyuki, yaha bina wajah khush rehna anumat hai.
Or isiliye in deewaro me mera dam nhi ghut ta.
Or Isliye dekhta h ye ghar mujhe khul kr jeete,
Khudke liye jeete....
Mera. Apna. Ghar.

namaste this is shakthi sinha
Yeh kavita sirf “ghar” ke baare mein nahi hai, balki suraksha, swatantrata aur apne wajood ki khoj par ek gehra chintan hai. Lekhak ne “ghar” shabd ko sirf chaar deewaron tak simit nahi rakha, balki use sukoon, apnapan aur bina dar ke jeene ki jagah bana diya hai.
Sabse prabhavshaali baat yeh hai ki kavita dard aur shanti ke beech ka fark bahut sookshm tareeke se dikhati hai—jahan pehle deeware chup rehkar dukh ki gawah thi, wahi ab woh khushi, hasi aur azaadi ki saathi ban jaati hain. Chidiyon ki awaaz, hawa ka shor aur door se aati gaadiyon ki dhvani jaise drishya kavita ko jeevant bana dete hain.
Yeh kavita ek emotional healing ka safar lagti hai—jahan likhne wali apne ghar ke zariye apni pehchaan wapas paati hai. “Bina wajah khush rehna anumati hai” jaise panktiyan kavita ka saar ban jaati hain aur dil par gehra asar chhodti hain. Ant mein, “Mera. Apna. Ghar.” sirf ek vaakya nahi, balki ek ghoshna (declaration) hai—apni zindagi, apni khushi aur apni azaadi par poora adhikar hone ki.
Aapki yeh rachna sach mein dil ko chhoo gayi. Aapne itni gehraai aur nazuk bhavnaon ko itne sundar shabdon mein pesh kiya, jo sirf padh kar nahi, mehsoos bhi ki ja sakti hai.
Vishesh dhanyavaad aapko, itni khoobsurat kavita likhne ke liye, aur ise hum sabke saath is platform par share karne ke liye.

Hey MangledSoul! Alex is back with a review. You know how this goes so let's get started!
The title felt very personal and special from the get go. I can tell it's one of those pieces where the poetess paints the scene of how exactly she wants her own home to be and feel like. I believe those wants shall reflect what she craves and has failed to find anywhere else. It's a mirror into her past life experience- and I think that's what makes it so fascinating.
Matr chaar shabdo me aapne ghar ki paribhasha ko sanshepit kar diya. Sukoon aur shaanti- behad saral maange hai. Par ye hame batata hai kaise kavyetri apne bachpan ke ghar me shor ko kitna napasand karti hogi. Haq- kavyetri kuch aisa chahti hai jispe uska kanuni adhikar ho. Jivan ke nirno me bebas va auro ke ahsaan se thaki kavyetri ab khud ki sampatti ki malkin banna chahti hai. Kavyetri ki ye saari chahte bilkul atyant jayez hai.
Love the reciprocity here! The poetess having decorated each corner of her house herself, inevitably feels a sense of belonging in it. She loves her home as is loved by it. How beautiful!
Ye aapne kitni sach baat ki! Apne ghar me rehte rehte waha yaade aur kisse ban jana kitna swabhik hai, aur yahi hame apne ghar se aur bhi kareeb le aate hai.
I can sense a tinge of sarcasm here. As if the poetess is taunting someone who's said this to her in the past. It acts as a great backstory as to why she seeks such comfort in her own home, safe from such depressing societal comments.
I think this really seconds my theory that the poetess craved this peace as a child, but never got it maybe because of being raises in an abusive or loud household.
This part really added some gravity to the poem. It contrasts her previous emotional turmoils to her current peace. For the walls of her new home to have not seen her cry or burst out is truly astonishing. It's like the home is a paradise, stepping into which rids the world of all existing problems.
Such absolute optimism makes me think if all this is a far fetched fantasy. Perhaps a desire of escape from a poetess suffering within a house that's not her own in name? It's a fairytale, but is writing it from hell?
Ye panktiya pathak ko kavyetri ke jeevan se judi ek anokhi jhalak dikhata hai. Mano kavyetri apne naye ghar ke or nhi, balki samaj se dur bhag rahi hai. Logo ki tok-jhok se dur kavyetri swam ke liye ek shant jagah talash rahi hai. Kya ye saval karne wale kavyetri ke apne mata pita hai? Agar yahi satya hai to kavyetri ki apne ghar dhundhe ki jaldbaazi jayez lagti hai. Rishtedaro va apno ke taano se pareshan kavyetri ek shant jeevan vyatit karne ki ikchuk hai. Kavyetri ka apna ghar chahne ka ye ek aur karan spasht hai- aazadi apni zindagi khud ke man ke mutabik jeene ki, jaha samaj ke bandhano ki koi jagah nhi.
Another quite impactful contrast here. The simplicity is really captivating and flows rather effortlessly.
Certainly an interesting addition.. I see this doesn't add much to the meaning to the poetry as it lacks any significant information the reader isn't aware of already. It certainly doesn't complement the structure and instead break the patterns that it had established earlier. Still, this bit works and belongs so beautifully, that the poem loses it's charm if you cut this out. I find this point to be one the very few cases displaying the 'unexplainable magic of poetry'. You could argue that it adds a sense of rhythm by a repetition of the title. The line before that is a continuation of the previous one, the later one being a more philosophical extension with a tinge of innovation. These all look reasonable on paper but they fail justify the degree of effect these line produce in the reader's heart. Perhaps the human factor? You can never tell.
Overall this was such a refreshing poem to read. I like how the theme strayed from my expectations of superficial ownership to explore autonomy, belonging, safety and self exploration. You're turned a shallow concept into a much expanded description. It feels deeply personal and yet oddly relatable at places. The shifting contrasts were so expertly depicted, I could feel myself on a rollercoaster. You've outdone yourself, especially considering the simple prompt doesn't give one much to work with. You made the best out of a strained idea. Keep up the great work! Isi tarah likhte rahiye, aasha hai bhavishya me bhi mujhe isi tarah aapki anya kavitae padhne ka saubhagya milega. Thank you for sharing this amazing piece with us.
Thank you Alex. Glad you enjoyed it...
